In the early 19th century and earlier, the instrumental sonata for ensemble that included piano was usually called "piano sonata with instrumental accompaniment". Beethoven's first violin sonatas, for instance, were published as "sonatas for piano with violin accompaniment." While most sonatas with cello from the 18th century were written for continuo, with the left hand of the keyboard part often doubling the cello, Beethoven is credited for composing some of the first works in the genre that featured a written-out piano part.

Imploding the Mirage is the upcoming sixth studio album by American rock band the Killers. It is scheduled to be released on August 21, 2020, by Island Records in the United States and internationally by EMI. It is the band's first album without lead guitarist Dave Keuning, who has not been touring or recording with the Killers since 2017. Guitar parts are covered by Killers bassist Mark Stoermer, producer Jonathan Rado, and a variety of guest musicians including Lindsey Buckingham (ex-Fleetwood Mac).

Provided of a style eminently neo symphonic, the band delivers a style of classic roots and influenced by the british school (groups like Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd and Marillion). In April 2017 The Who took to the stage at London’s Royal Albert Hall to perform their rock opera “Tommy” live in its entirety for the first time in their long and illustrious career. Previous Who live shows had always dropped two, three or four tracks from the album but for this show in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust the band would perform every track…
