The opera takes as its starting point Attila’s plans to storm Rome with his army of Huns and the Roman’s attempts to prevent him. As with Nabucco and I Lombardi, Verdi spiced up the action with a number of patriotic choruses, guaranteeing that – against the background of the Italian movement for unification – the opera was a great success.

Orianthi's third studio album, 2013's Heaven in This Hell, finds the virtuoso guitarist and singer moving away from the melodic pop/rock of 2009's Believe and toward a more adult contemporary and modern blues-rock sound. Working with producer and Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart, Orianthi co-wrote all of the songs on Heaven in This Hell. Whereas last time, tracks like, "According to You" and "Bad News" brought to mind a harder rocking take on "Since You've Been Gone"-era Kelly Clarkson, here, cuts like the swampy blues of "Fire" and the Jimi Hendrix-esque "Frozen" play up more of Orianthi's strength as ballsy, guitar slinging rock chick.

This segment of the Teddy Wilson chronology contains 23 recordings made for the Columbia label in New York and Chicago between December 11, 1939 and September 16, 1941. The first eight tracks showcase Wilson's 12-piece big band, using arrangements by Wilson, Edgar Sampson and Buster Harding. This unusually upsized version of the Teddy Wilson & His Orchestra had Doc Cheatham and Harold "Shorty" Baker in the trumpet section, Ben Webster and Rudy Powell among the reeds, and Al Casey and J.C. Heard playing rhythm. Those who are accustomed to Wilson's customary small group sound will find this material pleasantly, perhaps surprisingly different from the norm. Oceans Of Fire is a second album from Celtic rock band Celtica Pipes Rock!

Formed in 1982, Ywis was the creation of Julian Driessen (keyboards). The roots of this group go all the way back to 1975, but line-up changes and various other reasons saw the name change throughout the years. 1982 saw a new line-up, and thus a new name for this band project, which besides Driessen consisted of Geert van de Burg (vocals), Herman Ruijters (drums), Eric Stap (bass) and Rinus Hollenberg (guitars, backing vocals). Their debut album, heavily influenced by Canadian bands Saga and Rush, was released in 1983. The album sold quite well, and several concerts in Holland and Czechoslovakia. The band folded in 1985 due to musical differences, following a tour in Bulgaria…
