Britain's Got Talent stars The Jive Aces are the UK's # 1 jive and swing band. Renowned for their high energy show, they put Simon Cowell "in a really good mood" and were the first band to reach the BGT semi-finals. They've headlined The Albert Hall, played 30 countries, worked with Van Morrison and played for The Queen. This latest album, the band’s 12th, marks the 20th Anniversary of this line up. "Diggin' The Roots Vol. 1: Rockin' Rhythm & Blues” is inspired by the early influences that generated that initial enthusiasm and lit the flame that started the Jive Aces off on their musical journey. Such influences include Big Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Ruth Brown and the great Louis Prima who was the single biggest influence on the band.

Human, is the debut album from global phenomenon Rag'N'Bone Man, whose real name is Rory Graham, a singer songwriter from Uckfield, East Sussex, England. The album features the title track, "Human," an emerging worldwide hit that has achieved # 1 Singles Chart status in Austria, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland, and is now moving up charts in the United States. The single is certified GOLD in Germany, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden and Platinum in Switzerland. Rag'N'Bone Man's artistry began with the blues. He discovered the genre as a child, with the rhythmic troubles that rang out from his parents' record player and planted a stubborn seed in this kid's head.

Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848) wrote his first opera at the early age of 21, which over the next 25 years was to be followed by another seventy. From 1830 onwards his operas caught the attention of the public and remained on the programmes, which was unusual at that time. When in 1841 the sought-after opera composer was on yet another of his tours, he was approached by the manager of the Vienna Kärntnertortheater, Bartolomeo Morelli, who requested him to set Linda di Chamonix to music after a libretto by Gaetano Rossi. Donizetti, who was keen to establish himself in Vienna, having already done so in Paris and Milan, accepted the commission.

Yes, he was also persecuted and self-destructive, and plagued by mental and physical illness for most of his life, but his marvelous mind not only set the standard for generations of jazz saxophonists, but gave us an entire lexicon of hipster/beatnik language that has become part of American popular culture. Someone should make a movie about Lester Young.

Johannes Brahms’ four symphonies were greeted by his contemporaries as the most promising answer to Beethoven’s legendary legacy, and they have remained at the core of the symphonic repertoire ever since. Steering clear of poetic titles and adhering to traditional forms, they are nonetheless full of drama and musical innovation. This digital boxset presents the symphonies in chronological order, performed by the Pittsburgh Symphony under the baton of Marek Janowski, one of the greatest interpreters of German Romantic repertoire.

They recreated straight Rock’n roll based on guitars and passionate vocals. Their style honors Nikola Tesla, legendary inventor, where the band name came from. Borrowing Nikola Tesla’s 1943 invention, a machine cracking a nut, as the jacket image, the band fulfills the hard-rocking yet dynamic and acoustic rock to the edge. Bust a Nut is the fourth studio album by Tesla, released in 1994. It was their final studio album on Geffen Records before the band split. The album was certified gold on March 16, 1995. In November 2011, Bust a Nut was ranked number ten on Guitar World magazine's top ten list of guitar albums of 1994.

The French pianist Hélène Grimaud is one of the most sought after contemporary pianists. Her great musical sensitivity and technical skills are indisputable, but she also has a radiant personality, with a stage appearance that captivates every audience. Now she has a long-standing contract with Deutsche Grammophon, while in the past she recorded for Erato. Her very first recordings were released by the Japanese audiophile label Denon, and according to many, these recordings are her very best. This set contains all the CDs (five in total) that she made for Denon between 1985 and 1992, with the great romantic repertoire in which she excels in clarity, sensitivity and structural build-up, and especially that very personal style that has become her unique trademark.
