Mozart himself saw the advantages of creating more accessible versions of his concertos in reduced instrumentation. Ignaz Lachner followed common 19th-century practice by leaving the piano parts of these concertos intact and making splendid transcriptions of the orchestra parts using only a string quartet with added bass. K. 488 and K. 491 are two of Mozart’s greatest and most popular piano concertos. These chamber versions throw an intense and intimate new light on familiar music. A band made of pieces from Z-66 and Los Bravos (Zee + Bra), featuring who became later one of the most known jazz guitarist of Spain: Joan Bibiloni. In fact, Zebra can be considered the band of Joan Bibiloni. Their only record is a remarkable one and it has a good recording quality for that time. It has a fine mix of more poppy themes and very interesting progressive ones, specially a cover of the song "Imagine" of John Lennon, that seems to be made by Yes themselves. Guitars in this record remind those of Steve Howe and also the vocal works are also in that direction.

Toward the end of his stint with Blue Note, Jimmy Smith's albums became predictable. Moving to Verve in the mid-'60s helped matters considerably, since he started playing with new musicians (most notably nice duets with Wes Montgomery) and new settings, but he never really got loose, as he did on select early Blue Note sessions. Part of the problem was that Smith's soul-jazz was organic and laid-back, relaxed and funky instead of down and dirty. For latter-day listeners, aware of his reputation as the godfather of modern soul-jazz organ (and certainly aware of the Beastie Boys' name drop), that may mean that Smith's actual albums all seem a bit tame and restrained, classy, not funky. While flying home from Europe after all tours being cancelled due to COVID-19, Mike Zito decided the band would record an album. Individually they were to be quarantined for 14 days and this idea of writing, producing and releasing an album in the 14 day period seemed like quite an effort and a distraction for him. He followed no rules, he wrote what he was feeling regardless of style or genre and used his feelings of fear, hope, love and rebelliousness to fuel his creativity. Mike left the 'rules' on the floor and followed his heart. "I think these are some of the best songs I have written in years."
