British singer, songwriter, and composer Sally Night followed her stunning Venus debut album, "Love For Sale", with the second album, "Ballads For You". As the title suggests, it is a collection of beautiful ballads, 13 standards and two originals. Night is backed by supremely talented, first-rate New York-based musicians: Jon Davis on piano, Dezron Douglas on bass, Willie Jones III on drums and Romero Lubambo on guitar. The selections showcase her sophisticated singing technique and her personal style.

The Cincinnati Pops is one of America's favorite orchestras, playing classical hits, orchestral versions of pop and jazz, movie themes and show tunes. On Broadway features Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra's typically robust readings of favorites from the Great White Way: focusing primarily on latter-day stage hits, the collection includes rousing renditions of "He Lives in You", "Seasons of Love", "This Is the Moment", "Cross the Line", and "Hookers' Ball".

Akiko Suwanai, one of the most talented contemporary violinists, will release her first new album in two and a half years, "Brahms: Violin Sonatas." Prior to the album, "No. 2 in A major, Op. 100, 1st movement" has been distributed.

Duane and Gregg Allman found themselves in a host of other projects before the famed Allman Brothers Band began their ascent to success. This release is an album-length demo recording of a Tallahassee-basked folk rock band the 31st of February, which featured Duane Allman on guitar and Gregg Allman on vocals. While the 31st of February would eventually disband, this record is a rare insight into the early days of the Allmans and features the first ever recording of the song "Melissa".

Open Our Eyes is the fifth studio album by Earth, Wind & Fire, released in 1974 on Columbia Records. The album went to number one on the R&B Charts and number 15 on the Pop Charts. Open Our Eyes contained the Billboard charting singles, "Mighty Mighty" (R&B #4, Pop #29), "Devotion" (R&B #23, Pop #33) and "Kalimba Story" (R&B #6, Pop #55). This album has been certified platinum in the US by the RIAA.

"B.B. King in London" is the nineteenth studio album by B.B. King recorded in London in 1971. He is accompanied by US session musicians and various British R&B musicians, including Alexis Korner and Rick Wright (not the same from Pink Floyd), as well as members of Spooky Tooth and Humble Pie, Greg Ridley, Steve Marriott and Jerry Shirley. The album was released in the United Kingdom on November 19, 1971 in order to coincide with the first date of King's tour of the country.

Late Serbian keyboardist-composer Bora Rokovic has dropped into obscurity, but in his heyday he recorded with the likes of Stan Getz, Dusko Goykovic and arranged for the popular WDR Big Band. Known as an original stylist, Rokovic's music overflows with ideas and he had the chops to express them. "Ultra Native", a hidden gem, has been a collector’s item for good reason: this 1971 trio date includes great German bassist Peter Trunk, named one of the best German bassists in jazz by critics, on par with any of the best bassists in the US.

The best British folk-rock band of the late '60s, Fairport Convention did more than any other act to develop a truly British variation on the folk-rock prototype by drawing upon traditional material and styles indigenous to the British Isles. While the revved-up renditions of traditional British folk tunes drew the most critical attention, the group members were also (at least at the outset) talented songwriters as well as interpreters. They were comfortable with conventional harmony-based folk-rock as well as tunes that drew upon more explicitly traditional sources, and boasted some of the best singers and instrumentalists of the day. A revolving door of personnel changes, however, saw the exit of their most distinguished talents, and basically changed the band into a living museum piece after the early '70s, albeit an enjoyable one with integrity.

Cher fans will get to celebrate Pride Month in June with special vinyl editions and expanded digital versions of her classic albums, Living Proof and Closer to the Truth on June 28th, it was announced by Warner Records. These two personal favorite albums of the one and only Cher will be available from Warner Records on June 28th. LIVING PROOF will be pressed on cola-bottle milky green vinyl while CLOSER TO THE TRUTH vinyl will be in a rich creamy bone color.

Prog-rock giants Dream Theater delivers a career-defining work entitled "A Dramatic Turn of Events", which is undoubtedly one of their strongest outings yet. Voted by Rolling Stone readers as "One of the Best Prog Rock Bands of All Time", the album marks the second consecutive top ten debut in Billboard’s Top 200.

This live album captures Hip-Hop legends Public Enemy performing the most intimate gig in the band's history, at Metropolis Studios in London for 125 lucky contest winners. A document of that unique show, held in August 2014, has been released as both a concert documentary video and this companion soundtrack album, which contains more than an hour of Public Enemy's biggest hits.

Corey Glover’s Universe releases their debut album ‘It Is What It Is’ through earMUSIC. The long-awaited full-length debut was produced by Mike Orlando at his Sonic Stomp Studios on Staten Island, NYC and features 10 tracks that twist genres into new sonic shapes, but remain true to each band members’ legacy. Joined by bassist Booker King and drummer Taykwuan Jackson (Sworn Enemy),Corey Glover’s Universe breathes soul into hard rock, slams punk into funk and grooves with a special power all their own.

Gustav Mahler never heard Das Lied von der Erde, his penultimate completed work, nor the Ninth Symphony, which followed it closely. He was probably working on them more or less simultaneously. Despite his state of health, he managed not only to complete the full score of Das Lied, but also to prepare a version with piano accompaniment in place of the orchestra. There is however a third version, started by Arnold Schönberg - who saw Mahler as his mentor - in 1920, and scored for a chamber orchestra. This release features the European Chamber Soloists under Nicol Matt, with soloists Anna Haase (mezzo-soprano) and Daniel Sans (tenor).
