Proud to introduce the North Texas-based band, Matthew Bell & The Next of Kin. With a name like that, it’s no surprise that this quintet is a family endeavor. But unlike bands bonded by DNA, these players are joined in matrimony: lead singer/songwriter Matthew Bell is married to drummer Jarod Schmitt’s sister, and violinist Daren Denniston is married to Bell’s sister. Together with lead guitarist Ben Dobberstein and bassist Cameron Crowley, they wed lyrical depth with R&B grooves and tight, pop-informed harmonies to create a sound Bell labels “folk-soul.”

The Diamond Family Archive are a unique English lo-fi, psych-folk, multi-instrumentalist roving ensemble led by the song writing of Laurence Collyer. Live, The Diamond Family Archive craft a mesmeric live-show from drums, acoustic guitars, lots of FX pedals, keyboards set to drone, tape delay, loops and bellows, bows, harmonicas, cosmic harps, toys and broken cymbals. All coming together to create music which holds echos of post-rock, traditional folk, spiritual soul music, psychedelic rock and lo-fi.

The "New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne" can look back on more than 60 years of history, mostly as "Maryland Jazz Band of Cologne". At the request of the bandleader Doggy Hund, who died in the autumn of 2015, the band changed their name and presents itself since the beginning of 2016 as "New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne". The musical concept of cultivating the traditional and authentic New Orleans Jazz continues to be in focus - too because we know that the "New Orleans Sound" is no longer (often) listening to an ubiquitous, original band like ours. As an example and musical orientation, the bands of the legendary Preservation Hall were from the very beginning.

Singer/songwriter Billy Raffoul releases Live In June EP today, August 23, on Interscope Records. Live In June was recorded during Raffoul’s spring 2019 club tour opening for Parachute. The set captures Raffoul’s stripped-down performance aesthetic featuring only Raffoul with his guitar and voice. Live In June features the newly released song “Easy Tiger” as well as fan favorites “Lovely” and “Acoustic” and is available at all digital retailers now. “Playing live for an audience has always been the most important thing to me so I am happy to share five live versions of previously released songs with you all,” says Raffoul. “In between these songs I am trying my hand at comedy… in the event that this music thing.
