Big, Bad and Beautiful - this recorded in the spring of live double album summarizes what Popa Chubby has achieved in the past decade. For ten long years, it is already here that Popa Chubby released a live album. This double live album includes hits from Popa of „Booty and the Beast“ to his anniversary album „I’m Feelin' Lucky“. The 27-song live work of Chubbfatha was in March 2015 recorded in France during his „I’m Feelin' Lucky“ tour on which he was accompanied by a great team: Dave Keyes (Keyboard), Francesco Beccaro (bass) and Andrea Beccaro (drums). As a special treat, there is an impromptu mini-set of the band with some Rolling Stones classics. A definitive live release of 55s guitar heroes from NYC!

The big man's back. Popa Chubby celebrates 25 years performing New York City blues with 10 tracks of great songs, great sounds and great guitar. Musicians helping out are Chris Reddan on drums, Dave Keyes, keyboards and Italian bass player Francesco Beccaro alongside Dana Fuchs and Mike Zito from the Royal Southern Brotherhood. The first 10,000 CDs ordered in Europe will include a special bonus disc with 45 minutes of tracks from earlier bands when Popa Chubby was plain Ted Horovitz.

Ile Kallio, Okko Laru and Patrik Eriksson are the Ile Kallio Big Rock Band. Ile Kallio, the namesake of this likeable Finnish combo, is an old warhorse who has already done quite a lot of musical projects. Among other things, he was involved in 2005 on the album "Sodassa ja rakkaudessa" the Finnish pop singer Kaija Kärkinen and gave him a soothing liveliness.

Olympia, Paris, 27 June 2012. In this mythical concert hall, the Ahmad Jamal quartet played in telepathic mode to reinvent the Blue Moon repertoire. Then, before giving the audience a transformed rendering of Poinciana, a hit from the Chess era, the pianist brought on stage Yusef Lateef who played with him in the glory days of the Atlantic label. The pioneering world fusion wind player then conjured up some magical moments and took us on one of those mystical journeys to which he has the key. This recording offers the entire historic concert, illuminated by these two jazz greats inspired by groove and the spirit of the sacred.

On July 12, 2014, Incognito threw a party that will surely be remembered for years to come. To celebrate the band’s 35th anniversary in style, Incognito performed at London‘s O2 Shepherd‘s Bush Empire and invited friends, family and fans to join them for a wild night out. With guest performances by genre and music companion Mario Biondi, American soul diva Carleen Anderson and friends and artists from former and current times like Mo Brandis and Imaani, Incognito plucked out songs from their 17 studio albums for an amazing performance, delivered in style, with passion, with soul and with heart.

OC DC once again finds Get The Blessing elbowing their way out of easy categorisation. The Bristol-based four-piece have deftly ploughed their jazzy post-rock furrow since the release of their debut All Is Yes back in 2008, drawing enthusiastic comparisons to similarly inventive acts like Tortoise and Polar Bear. The follow-up, 2009's Bugs In Amber, cemented their affable rapport with critics and fans alike, and further defied the boundaries and boxes that were placed around them - the Metro claimed in its glowing review that, 'Occasionally you hear a jazz album that you know would shift truckloads of units if only it weren't labelled ‘jazz'. Bugs In Amber is just such a disc.'

The one headed by trombonist Massimo Morganti is a very close-knit quartet, with a great melodic sense and the technical skills constantly bent in favor of a profound expressiveness. This thanks to the writing of the leader - formerly director of the Colors Jazz Orchestra and sideman in various projects -, who signs five of the seven tracks in the lineup, where we find a melodic conception that enhances the desire to start complex and at the same time understandable speeches, to which the guitarist Angelo Lazzeri plays a decisive role. Together with Morganti they form a winning couple, able to capture the attention for the entire duration of Musiplano, a sincere album played with the right determination and never overdoing it.

Following the phenomenally successful 'In concert' DVD release late in 2006, the Naim Label has released the album of this captivating performance. Originally commissioned by Naim, following the AFQ’s magnificent sell out tours both in the UK and mainland Europe, and recorded by Martin Levan of Red Kite Studio, the album captures the performance of the band at its best. The combination of an intimate theatre - the Trinity in Tunbridge Wells - and the realistic sound and scale captured make this an unmissable album. The recording was completely live, there were no overdubs in the studio later as is perhaps more normal. The band was a particular challenge to record as they are essentially acoustic in nature. The recording was almost exclusively made by microphones rather than Direct Injections (DIs) to retain the full acoustic sense and dynamic of the quartet.
