It has been 4 years since Grammy nominated and number 1 Billboard Blues album Seesaw was released by singer-songwriter and blues-rock powerhouse Beth Hart and guitar hero Joe Bonamassa. Since then, they have both been on fire, both in the studio and live. So, the time was perfect to reunite for another collection of ten soul gems that encompass Hart's breath-taking vocals and Joe's masterfully expressive playing. Black Coffee will be released on January 26th, 2018.

In late 1965, Grandpa Jones proposed a tribute album to the Brown's Ferry Four, the gospel group with which he'd achieved success in the mid-'40s. With his fellow Brown's Ferry Four alumnus Merle Travis aboard and Ramona Jones in superb voice, he restored the best parts of their out of print King Records repertoire to the catalog.

In 1969, Grandpa Jones suddenly found himself with a weekly national television audience, and was only too happy to record his classic repertoire anew. He'd lost none of his spark and the material still held up, not only familiar fare like "Mountain Dew" and "Old Rattler" but also songs that began to figure in rock music anew, such as "Old Blue." After 26 years, STRAY CATS release a new album! Brian Setzer (guitar, vocals), Lee Rocker (bass, vocals) and Slim Jim Phantom (drums, vocals)–original founding members of the iconic and acclaimed American rock and roll trio–are celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2019. The STRAY CATS have titled the album 40. It will be released May 24 by Surfdog Records, and dsitriubuted by Mascot Label Group in Europe and the UK and via Surfdog Records in the rest of the world. The song titles alone — including "Cat Fight (Over A Dog Like Me)," "Rock It Off," "Mean Pickin' Mama," and "Devil Train" — instantly let listeners know they're in for a non-stop rocking time.

Her singing voice is like a gentle stroke of the cheek. The second solo album that follows "Kiss Me" which has won in Hong Kong music chart No. 1. A female jazz singer who gained popularity as a singer of Korea's No. 1 popular jazz pop unit WINTERPLAY, and made a solo debut with the album "Kiss Me" in 2018. The previous album "Kiss Me" has been released in Asian countries, and in Hong Kong, he won Taylor Swift and won first place in the overall album chart. The second album, which has been a year and a half, is produced by guitarist / composer Ito Goro, who is also known for his work with Tomoyo Harada. A new unit "land & quiet" consisting of Ito Goro (g)-Sato Koichi (p)-Fukumori Shinya (ds) is fully supported and recorded. Lead track "What Can I Do" (The Cora's) is headed by, covering the cover of the pops and the standard songs of jazz standard that shines evergreen. It is a work of the attractive full bloom of 凛 and transparent singing voice.

For 50 years, ‘The White Album’ has invited its listeners to venture forth and explore the breadth and ambition of its music, delighting and inspiring each new generation in turn. The Beatles have now released a suite of lavishly presented ‘White Album’ packages, including a 180-gram 2LP vinyl set. The album’s 30 tracks are newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell in stereo and includes packaging faithful to the original album.

After Paris, Olivier Benoit turned to an exploration of Berlin for the second chapter of Europa. Paying even more heed to its architecture, this time the composer centred his efforts on history and memory of the city with a population that was young, creative and cosmopolitan. Declined in dense compositions with lyrical imprints, this shimmering portrait questions the various manners in which the Germans have confronted their recent past. Olivier Benoit captured the heterogeneous spirit of the city with contrasted music that makes brilliant use of all the orchestra’s resources. Faithful to his singular compositional methods associating the dynamics of timbres with a true “feel” for architecture in motion and a hypnotic rhythmical pulse, with Europa Berlin the composer opened up new perspectives in both sound and form, and which drew on the different musical currents that “inhabit” the German capital: minimalist music, free jazz, progressive rock and electronic music.

Three Blind Mice is a 1962 jazz album released by Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers for United Artists Records. It was later reissued in two volumes by Blue Note Records. It features live material recorded in 1961 at The Village Gate, NYC and The Renaissance Club, Hollywood, in 1962. It was bassist Jymie Merritt's final recording with the group before having to leave to recover from an illness; he would be replaced by Reggie Workman. Blue Note has re-issued a two-volume CD set, Three Blind Mice Vol 2, with supplementary live tracks from the original dates of recording.

Three Blind Mice Volume 1 were originally live recordings made for the United Artists label. They were made in March '62 on the heels of the magnificent Blue Notes "Mosaic" and "Buhaina's Delight," and with the same personnel. Some of the music we've heard before "Plexis" was on Freddie Hubbard's "Hub Cap" and "Children of the Night" was on "Mosaic" but this band could breath fresh life into anything. Speaking of which, only the Jazz Messengers could make "Three Blind Mice" swing and at the same time make it into a creative arrangement for a three horn frontline. Great stuff from a great time.

It seems inevitable that the highly acclaimed, virtuosic pianist-composer Gwilym Simcock and multi-award winning double bassist-composer Yuri Goloubev would one day record together in a duo once their paths had crossed. That moment has come with the new recording Reverie at Schloss Elmau on the award-winning ACT label. One born in Wales, the other in Russia, most of Europe stands between them. But in terms of their musical journeys, they appear to have been leading parallel lives. Both were classical music prodigies and have world-class techniques on their respective instruments.

Hank Mobley was not just a master of hard bop but one of its founders. With the Jazz Messengers and Horace Silver's Quintet, he helped to define the role of the tenor in hard bop, and his series of Blue Note recordings made him an influential force for 15 years. Originally a pianist, Mobley switched to tenor when he was 16, and by the early 1950s was a member of Max Roach's quartet. Mobley was with Dizzy Gillespie's group during 1954 before becoming an original member of the Jazz Messengers.

Since embarking on a solo career in 1966, Chick has been at the forefront of jazz, both as a renowned pianist forging new ground with his acoustic jazz bands and as an innovative electric keyboardist with Return to Forever, the Elektric Band, and now the electro/acoustic Vigil. Chick is the fourth-most-nominated artist in the history of the Grammys, with 63 nominations. He's also earned 3 Latin Grammy Awards, the most of any artist in the Best Instrumental Album category.

Joe Henderson is the essence of jazz. He embodies all the elements that came together in his generation: the virtuosity of hard bop and the avantgarde. He can be harmonically abstract and yet keep to the roots. He is my inspiration.” So spoke guitar great John Scofield about the tenor saxophonist. Henderson, who died in 2001, was one of the most important jazz musicians of the last third of the twentieth century. He became an overnight sensation as a member of Horace Silver’s band on the release of Silver’s “Song for My Father”.

A half-speed mastered, 45rpm cut double-LP version of the original album. This rare and specialised technique transforms difficult to cut high-end frequencies into relatively easy to cut mid-range frequencies. The result is a cut with excellent high frequency response and very solid and stable stereo images. In short, half-speed mastering produced a master of the highest quality that enables the pressing plant to produce a superlative record. This reissue of ABBA – The Album will also feature new liner notes by noted ABBA historian Carl Magnus Palm, detailing the story behind the album.
