Zenyatta Mondatta (stylised as Zenyattà Mondatta on the album cover artwork) is the third studio album by English rock band the Police, released in 1980. It was co-produced with Nigel Gray. It features the two hit singles: "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da". It reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.
The album won the Police two Grammy Awards including Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "Don't Stand So Close to Me" and the Police's second consecutive win for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for "Behind My Camel".

Flowers in the Dirt is the eighth studio solo album by Paul McCartney. The album was released on 5 June 1989 on Parlophone, as he was embarking on his first world tour since the Wings Over the World tour in 1975–76. It was considered a major return to form, and earned McCartney some of the best reviews he had received in years. The album made number 1 in the United Kingdom and Norway and produced several hit singles (the first being "My Brave Face").

Another band that colored my childhood, Frumpy, is now included here. Well, I never considered that this would be featured here even though I really enjoyed this album.

With this second album, Frumpy strikes big and even bigger. Already, the debut album having sold in respectable amounts (partly due to their superb gimmix cover, this fully unfoldable round plastic artwork was even more impressive, but here the music on the wax slice was altogether more satisfying than on their previous effort.

At their best, and especially on home ground in central European repertory, Abbado and the Vienna Philharmonic could produce electrifying music-making, as on the present recording of Brahms's Hungarian Dances made in Vienna's Sofiensaal in 1982. The recording was commissioned as part of Deutsche Grammophon's superb 8-volume, 62-LP "Brahms Edition", a survey of the composer's complete musical output which was released in 1983 to mark the 150th anniversary of Brahms's birth. Gramophone magazine's Robert Layton commended the warmth, eloquence and virtuosity of the Vienna Philharmonic's playing, adding that, though Abbado was scrupulous in his observation of the letter of the score, "the spirit of what Brahms liked to refer to as his 'genuine gypsy children' is always in evidence".
