Turkey's leading jazz musician Cem Tuncer, his first solo album 'Alright!' S brought together with the listener. Newspaper Wall-speaking musicians, drawing attention to the abundance of jazz festivals held in Turkey in recent times, "I am delighted the increase of course festive number, but the content elections heads quite complicated or commercial concerns are very high," he said.

Lemoyne Alexander is still an unknown for many people. On closer inspection, however, the American turns out to be a successful, gold- and platinum-refined producer, musician and songwriter. With Solitude, the album belies it’s title with its promise of quiet introspection. From the top, the cautionary tale of Cookie Jar and the sexy strut of Black Dress inform the listener that Lemoyne Alexander came to rock. And rock he does, as he winds his way through a manner of Rock, Funk and Blues-hued settings which allow his soulful voice to shine.

Leaving Eden, Carolina Chocolate Drop's second full-length Nonesuch disc, was produced by Nashville stalwart Buddy Miller, the go-to guy for artists ranging from Solomon Burke to Robert Plant to Emmylou Harris. On this 15-song collection, recorded live in the studio with all the players in a single room, the Carolina Chocolate Drops illustrate their own adaptability to grow and change. Following the amicable departure of founding member Justin Robinson, band mates Rhiannon Giddens and Dom Flemons recruited three exceptional new players for the recording and expanded their repertoire to incorporate more overt blues and jazz elements and straight-up folk balladry alongside brilliantly rendered string-band tunes.

Another fine Pfeiffer / Chase / Heiftez collaboration. Throw in Hendl conducting the Detroit Symphony on the Rozsa Violin Concerto and Izler conducting the RCAVVO on Benjamin's Romantic Fantasy and you've got a winner. This is an original 3-track recording and that is what this LP reissue was mastered from. The result? Not to be missed!

Nachdem die Alben seit langer Zeit nicht als Schallplatte erhältlich gewesen sind, wurden sie nun von Krautrock-Studiomeister Eroc (Grobschnitt) neu abgemischt und lassen einmal wieder an die unveränderte Bedeutung des Urvaters aller deutscher Rockmusik erinnern.

Soundtrack to the 1983 American musical and romance film Flashdance, it sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. The film's three singles feature on the album. Two of these singles, "Flashdance … What A Feeling" by Irene Cara and "Maniac" by Michael Sembello, peaked at #1 in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The track "Romeo" by Donna Summer was released as a promo video to MTV prior to the film's release, composed only of outtakes from the film. For 13 years now, the Munster-based four-piece Long Distance Calling has been famed and cherished for its weightless yet massive music. After having returned to their instrumental roots Long Distance Calling sat down to carefully ponder their next step. When they got up again, they were ready for their most extraordinary live undertaking yet: Aptly entitled "Seats & Sounds", this string of concerts saw Long Distance Calling take to the stage in very special locations in front on a seated audience. Regarded to be a one-off experience, the band took the matter almost religiously and went to great lengths in pulling off their most daring effort.

Couple of reviews suggest that it should have been named The Incomplete Mike Oldfield. Because there are only relatively short extracts from TB, Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn and Incantations?

5 stars CRESSIDA’s “Asylum” is a wonderful example of early British symphonic progressive rock. This 1971 release mixes catchy Paul McCartney-esque vocals with adventurously colorful instrumental passages.

Cressida’s short career will be unfortunately unnoticed, despite having a lot of trumps in their hands. Just two albums, but both fetching small fortunes (partly due to the fact that they were released on Vertigo’s Swirl label), but the music quality is simply excellent on both records although there are very notable differences between them.

Not a masterpiece by any means but I do find "Discovery" underrated 'cause of some pure magical moments.

Wonderful!!! It's difficult to find music of such beauty, and this is without a doubt my favourite Mike Oldfield's album, along with it sequel Amarok.
