Lisa Simon Kelly, known by her stage name Lisa Simon, is an American singer, composer and actress, known for her work on Broadway and beyond in such productions as La Boheme, The Lion King, Aida, and Les Miserables. She is the only child of musician and civil rights activist Nina Simon and executive producer of the Netflix documentary, “What Happened, Miss Simone?”. Simone's albums include "Simone on Simone", "All is Well", "My World" and "Live at the Edge". Lisa Simon announces the continuation of her artistic adventure with the release in September of her new album, "In Need of Love". Opus, which sounds like a look at her life, is an intimate and powerful introspection. The fate of Lisa Simon is the fate of a child who must grow up in the shadow of his mother, often in her absence, who was constantly on the road, carrying his art to the public around the world.
