Digitally remastered 20th Anniversary edition. Version 2.0 is the second studio album by alternative rock band Garbage, originally released in 1998. The album was recorded primarily at Smart Studios from March 1997 to February 1998. Despite a slow start, Version 2.0 went on to equal it's predecessor, earning platinum certifications in many territories. With the album, Garbage aimed to improve and expand on the style of their 1995 self-titled debut rather than reinvent their sound. In 1999, Version 2.0 was nominated for Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album. The album's third single "Special" was further nominated the following year for Best Rock Song and for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group.

The band continues with their signature gritty, rock & roll, blues sound on All Of This Life, their second album following up a Grammy-nominated and hit-filled debut. The 13th Album from Birth Control in 1982 featuring Bruno Frenzel before his demise in 1983. This is the last album before the band split up after eight years together on the road.

Birth Control's second album, Operation, stands as one of the band's finest recordings, getting the vote as the second best album of 1971 by one of Germany's leading music magazines. Operation has Birth Control employing a nine-piece string section as well as a smaller brass entourage in order to produce a larger sound, and while their progressive air is just beginning to flourish, a rather large difference in musical strength and instrumental craft is noted right away.

Eight years separate 1993’s The Fall Of Us All and A Man About A Horse, during which time Steve Tibbetts met with an accident that required him to have surgery on his right hand. Before the procedure, the story goes, the reclusive Minnesotan laid down all the guitar parts for A Man About A Horse in his home studio, thus leaving a skeleton as solid as his was uncertain. This apocryphal information matters little, however, once “Lupra” reaches its hands, zombie-like, from the soil. The tap of tabla and twang of acoustic guitar engage in intimate conversation, seeming to diagram hitherto unheard regions of the guitarist’s postmodern terrains.

Formerly part of the ‘70s soul & funk groups Love Craft and High Voltage, Lalomie was backup singer to legends of the likes of Ray Charles, Ike & Tina Turner and Chaka Khan, and songwriter for Buddy Miles, The Brothers Johnson and Aretha Franklin. Lalomie Washburn signed to Parachute Records in 1977 and enjoyed a solo recording career stretching up to the mid-‘90s, when she released a further album and a string of well received dance 12 inch singles.

Chuck Leavell has been pleasing the ears of music fans for more than 40 years now. His piano and keyboard work has been heard on the works of Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, The Black Crowes, George Harrison, The Allman Brothers Band, The Indigo Girls, Blues Traveler, Train, Montgomery-Gentry, Lee Ann Womack and many, many more. He has been the musical director and keyboardist for the Rolling Stones for over two decades.

Creedence Clearwater Revival was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. They were ranked at 82 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.
