John Duffey's influence on bluegrass cannot be overstated. His contributions to legendary bands The Country Gentlemen and The Seldom Scene helped transform the genre from a regional Appalachian music to a sophisticated, urban sound, resulting in a legion of new fans the world over. On Epilogue, the bluegrass music community comes together to create a marvelously fitting tribute to “the father of modern bluegrass.” Sam Bush, John Cowan, Bela Fleck, Bruce Molsky, Tim O’Brien, Don Rigsby, and so many more it’s a rare and special all-star cast. Second Glance is the new album by Tom McGuinness - guitarist with Manfred Mann, The Blues Band and McGuinness Flint. Featuring twelve songs written by Tom including three in collaboration with Grammy award-winning songwriter, Graham Lyle. The Blues Band's new studio album The Rooster Crowed confirms that the musicians; Paul Jones, Dave Kelly, Tom McGuinness, Gary Fletcher and Rob Townsend, after nearly forty years together, have lost none of their passion, nor expertise for the blues music genre they love. Twelve tracks, nine of them brand new original songs written within the band and three re-arrangements of traditional blues song, recorded over a three day period last year, prove this - just listen!

The 16-song collection filmed in London, England returned Paul Rodgers to his roots, bringing fans an extraordinary evening celebrating the music of Free. Kazuashita the band s first record together since the acclaimed Eye Contact in 2011 is an intoxicating mix of shoegaze and electronic ambience, all held together by Lizzi Bougatsos and her otherworldly vocal. Bougatsos, alongside founding members Brian DeGraw and Josh Diamond, formed the group as an improvisational outfit in the early 2000s, and have consistently worked to blur the boundaries between music and art; as comfortable today performing at the Whitney Biennial as they are at Coachella and count Dash Snow & Nate Lowman, Tinchy Stryder and the Boredoms as previous collaborators. Kazuashita was produced by DeGraw after recording sessions across several New York studios and art spaces, the band worked with drummer Ryan Sawyer (who met the band through the Boredoms BOADRUM project) and Jorge Elbrecht (who worked on additional production and mixing duties). Theatricality has long been a part of Panic! At the Disco’s DNA. But following a 10-week run playing entrepreneur Charlie Price in Kinky Boots on Broadway, Panic!’s lone full-time member, Brendon Urie, has infused his unique brand of emo-pop with renewed song-and-dance-man vigor. Each track feels humongous, swirling with strings and shiny horns and topped with Urie’s now theater-tested voice. “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” and “(Fuck A) Silver Lining” are on par with PATD’s most grandiose hits while “High Hopes” and “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” take inspiration for their brassiness from Urie's mother (“Mama said, ‘It’s uphill for oddities/Stranger crusaders ain’t ever wannabes’” goes one memorable line). Even the piano-and-strings ballad “Dying in LA” radiates enough charisma to reach the top deck.
