Keep It Turned On is Rick Astley's fifth album, released in Germany on 3 December 2001. The album reached number 56 on the German Albums Chart. It is his first studio album since 1993's Body & Soul. Because the album was not released in the UK, "Sleeping" and "Full of You" have appeared on several of his compilation albums, as 'new' tracks.

In the five years between Roxette's last album, Crash, Boom, Bang, and this, their "comeback" album, pop music had changed considerably. Crash, Boom, Bang failed, in part, because it was completely out of step with the times; in 1994 grunge, alternative, and rap ruled the charts, but Roxette always produced a relatively crisp and clean brand of pop/rock. In the five years since then, however, Brit-pop brought alternative rock back towards pop, electronica made dance music "cool" again, and bubblegum pop bands like the Spice Girls made unabashed pop fun again. Also, Per Gessle was fresh off from his very rock-oriented 1997 solo album.

Piece of the Action: The Best of Meat Loaf collects 30 songs from the larger than life rocker. At two discs, this U.K. collection would seem the perfect vehicle to showcase Marvin Lee Aday's three decades worth of material, but Piece of the Action narrows its focus on the his years with BMG and Sony, which means that anyone looking for recent hits like "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" is out of luck. That said, Meat Loaf's '70s and early '80s output provided him with the majority of his hits, making this early career anthology a worthy addition to the myriad reissues of his 1977 classic Bat out of Hell.

The plot couldn't be simpler: the Spanish nobleman Belmonte must free his fiancée Konstanze, her English maid Blonde and Belmonte's servant Pedrillo from the clutches of the Turkish Bassa, or Pasha, Selim. Belmonte must sneak into the pasha's seraglio and sneak back out again, all the while eluding and outsmarting Osmin, the overseer of the harem. With his Salzburg production of 2003, young Norwegian director Stefan Herheim raised a storm of controversy that continued to crackle in 2006, when the production was revised for the Mozart 22 cycle. The controversy was largely due to the fact that Herheim transposed the events to the inner world of the human psyche.

Dynasty marked the first time that the original four members of Kiss didn't all appear together for the entire album – session drummer Anton Fig subbed for Peter Criss due to the latter's erratic behavior and injuries sustained in a serious car crash…

Having thoroughly explored the madrigals of Monteverdi, Paul Agnew returns to the genre, this time focusing on the work of Gesualdo, whose mastery of chromaticism and dissonance eventually turned these expressive devices into a defining feature of his musical style.
