Crystal Gayle will revisit the country roots that run in her family with You Don’t Know Me, a collection of familiar country standards that includes the title track, which was penned by Hall of Fame songwriter Cindy Walker and popularized by Eddy Arnold in 1955. The band announced The Blue EP on July 30th with the release of 'Kids in '99', a song that recalls the Olympic Pipeline Explosion in 1999, an event that happened during one of their earliest rehearsals as a band in their hometown of Bellingham, WA. 'To The Ground' and 'Before The Bombs' were recorded during the album sessions for Thank You For Today and produced by Rich Costey. 'Kids In 99' and 'Blue Bloods' were produced by Peter Katis.

Ray Charles’s Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music, Volumes 1 & 2 are major landmarks in American culture. Charles demonstrated that great songs with signature performances work in all genres. “I Can’t Stop Loving You” was a standard in country, soul and R&B, as he proved. Modern Sounds also brought America together during the Sixties’ civil rights movement. Charles became one of the first recording artists to have ownership and complete control of the masters. Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music has been listed among the greatest albums of all time, along with the Beatles, Dylan, Motown, Springsteen, Hendrix and the Beach Boys.

Echo & The Bunnymen have collected their Peel Sessions recordings from 1979 through 1983 and will be releasing them in the U.K. on September 6th. The session tracks were recorded for The John Peel Show on BBC Radio 1 and have been released on a limited basis over the years. This is the first time to collect all of the Peel Sessions from the golden formative era of The Bunnymen.
