The upcoming release follows 2010's gold-certified Asylum, Disturbed's fourth consecutive #1 on the Billboard Top 200, and the group's subsequent four-year hiatus, which gave members David Draiman [vocals], Dan Donegan [guitar], Mike Wengren [drums], and John Moyer [bass] the necessary reprieve to make this imminent and deliberate return. "The idea was to leave when we were at our peak, which we were, and to come back when we felt reinvigorated," asserts Draiman. And Donegan agrees: "We wanted to return when we collectively had that fire underneath us. We missed it so much that we could tap into this energy and deliver the right album."

Sarah McKenzie, pianist-singer-composer and winner of the 2012 ARIA Award for Best Jazz Album, returns with a stunning new recording: We Could Be Lovers. One of Australia’s most consummate performers, in 2013 Sarah moved from Melbourne to New York to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music and to perform with the established greats of the US jazz scene. The result is We Could Be Lovers, a brilliant new album which signals a new chapter in Sarah’s rise to international fame.

It could be the title of a 1950s thriller. A little nostalgia for the time of my youth, of course. The time when the films were not all in color, where we guessed the blue eyes of Michelle Morgan, Jean Gabin, without being sure. This black and white of the film then made us dream; we gave it the color we imagined, and not the false reality of technicolor. I wanted to revisit songs that I composed a while ago. Time passes, the music remains timeless.

Now the duo can announce the August 25th release of their eagerly-anticipated self-titled debut album.

For the occasion, he was accompanied by some friends of European jazz, old companions like Michel Portal, Bojan Z. but also improvisers who contributed more recently to the history of the label, as Xavier de Pourquery. Not to mention the talented Manu Codjia, Edward Perraud who contribute in their own way to renew, prolong the spirit of this original French label.

For his expected return to the format iconic of the trio, the French pianist surrounds himself with a rhythmic top-flight and sign a series of original compositions dedicated to all those who constitute his family (kinship) music. A living tribute to all those who, in Paris as in New York, are beating the jazz in the Twenty-first century, by one of the most unusual pianists of today.

The new release by the acclaimed Trio Apollon concentrates on Max Bruch’s (1838-1920) music for clarinet, viola, and piano.In 1990, Felix Schwartz, 1st principal violist of the Staatskapelle Berlin; Matthias Glander, 1st solo clarinettist of the Staatskapelle Berlin; and Wolfgang Kühnl, professor of piano and chamber music at Berlin University joined to form the Trio Apollon. Little did they know the musical success they would experience, with 2015 marking the 25th anniversary of the ensemble, unchanged in its line-up.

The guitar maestro in cracking form on this hard rocking but richly varied album, which was Alvin’s first studio set after the break up of group Ten Years After. After many years on the road, he was in a mood to find freedom and work out with new musical mates, and as a result ‘Pump Iron’ is packed with fine performances. It was made at Alvin’s home studio in 1975 with keyboard player Tim Hinkley.

More tongue-in-cheek wordplay from Harry Nilsson. The album was originally titled God's Greatest Hits, but powers that be persuaded Nilsson to change it. His voice as well as his talent for writing catchy tunes was wearing thin here, and as with previous efforts, nothing stands out like his earlier material. Hip-hop beats, impressive voice and touching chorus, and the delicious hit “Heartbreaker”, all theses ingredients will make “To Dust” a classic from the 21th Century gospel.

After a long hiatus, R&B super crooner, Jaheim is back by popular demand with a new album, aptly entitled, 'Appreciation Day'. With a history of hit making, Jaheim is anxious to get back to his fans, 'It's been so long since I've had a chance to create music from my heart for the fans that have loved and supported me from the start. I decided to call the project 'Appreciation Day' because that's exactly what this album is. My show of appreciation to them.'

After some short-lived memberships to various groups during the 1960s Daydé was the first solo album in 1970. The following year he had his biggest commercial success, as his version of the title Mamy Blue in October 1971 reached No 1 in the French single charts. His second album White Soul on Lansdowne Records was produced in London studios with British musicians, who included among others, Rick Wakeman and Michael Giles . Daydé's voice is sometimes compared with that of Joe Cocker or Roger Chapman.

Jerry Naylor is an internationally recognized recording artist, performer, record producer, songwriter, radio and television personality, film and television producer, and Grammy nominated solo recording artist. With The Crickets, he recorded for Liberty/EMI Records and scored several hits including “Please Don’t Ever Change,” “My Little Girl” and “Teardrops Fall Like Rain.” As a solo artist he toured heavily from 1965-1982, performing 160-250 dates per year with his band in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. He scored a #5 pop hit with “But For Love” in 1970 and several country hits in the early ‘70s, including “Is This All There Is to a Honky Tonk.”

Pass the Butter was the only release from mid-1970s funk-rock band Gotham, comprised of all-stars John Gatchell, John Eckert and PeeWee Ellis. The album is one of the truest jazz-rock crossovers of its era with uplifting tracks such as Ease My Mind, Why Doesn't the Sun Shine and Use it or Lose It.
