This intriguing Angel Air release spotlights two albums produced in the wake of punk rock and seemingly destined to be overlooked in the history of heavy rock. Fandango developed out of that other seminal seventies heavy rock outfit, Warhorse. Nick Simper, original bassist for Deep Purple, joined with ex-Warhorse guitarist Peter Parks along with drummer Ron Penny and vocalist James Proops. Their first album, “Slipstreaming” was recorded and originally released on a small German label in 1979. The second album, “Future Times”, was recorded and released the following year with Mac Poole, former Warhorse drummer, replacing Penny. Now available for the first time on CD, this release includes two singles and bonus tracks never before available on CD. As ever, this package is completed by comprehensive liner notes and band photographs. The album is a must for any fan of British Rock and a real gem for any collector of Deep Purple related items.

"Drunk Americans," the first single from Toby Keith's 18th studio album, appeared in October 2014 but the accompanying 35 MPH Town didn't show up until a year later, a good indication that the single didn't perform as well as expected. Despite its alcoholic title – something of a tradition for Keith in the new millennium, where all seven singles subsequent to 2011's "Red Solo Cup" bar one have booze on the brain – "Drunk Americans" did suggest Keith was looking to break away from the slight electronic sheen of 2013's Drinks After Work, as it was the work of songwriters Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally, and Bob DiPiero, a trio who represented a post-bro country vanguard.

Ten Years After are an English blues rock band, most popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Between 1968 and 1973, Ten Years After scored eight Top 40 albums on the UK Albums Chart. In addition they had twelve albums enter the US Billboard 200, and are best known for tracks such as "I'm Going Home", "Hear Me Calling", "I'd Love to Change the World" and "Love Like a Man". Their musical style consisted of blues rock, and hard rock.

Considering that Southern Accents took so much time and money to complete, finally hitting the stores two and a half years after Long After Dark, it wasn't surprising that Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers decided to release a double live album, Pack Up the Plantation: Live!, a mere eight months after its release. After all, Southern Accents was criticized from many corners for being too slick, too much in Dave Stewart's corner instead of the Heartbreakers', so it made sense to quickly return the focus to the band, showcasing the group as the rockers they are. Pack Up the Plantation does do that, even if it isn't quite the barnburner it should have been.

Guy’s third solo album has been quite a while coming. First recordings were made back in 2013 but a busy schedule in recent years has meant its release is long overdue. The eight track LP (9 track CD) features the wonderful Bruce Molsky who takes the lead vocal on ‘Another Gale Blows’ and plays fiddle on several tracks. John McCusker and Mike McGoldrick feature on ‘Margaret Set’. Side B starts with the title track, ’High Roads’ featuring lead guitar from Ethan Johns and backing vocals from Sarah Ozelle. Other heavyweight contributors include Nigel Hitchcock, Danny Cummings, Ian Thomas, Marcus Cliffe, Miles Bould and Guy’s son Max. The record was mixed at British Grove Studios by legendary producer Glyn Johns.

The greatest rock guitarist of all time, with a raw, blues-influenced style that brought fire and emotion to rock music unseen before or since. In his brief four-year reign as a superstar, Jimi Hendrix expanded the vocabulary of the electric rock guitar more than anyone before or since. On a Day Like Today is the eighth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released in 1998. The album reached #3 in Canada & #11 in the UK. "On a Day Like Today" was the first single released. It reached #13 in the UK and #1 on the Canadian Singles Chart. "When You're Gone", the second single, was a smash hit reaching #3 on the UK Chart and was in the Top 10 for ten weeks. It reached #11 in Canada. "Cloud Number Nine" reached #6 in the UK and #7 in Canada.
