Róisín Murphy has announced Hit Parade Remixes which will be out May 24. The album features nine remixes of tracks from last year’s Hit Parade album by Moodyman, Eli Escobar, Baba Ali, Payfone, and more.

Ahead of their appearance at this year’s When We Were Young festival, Say Anything shared an early look at the title and tracklisting of their forthcoming album, Say Anything …Is Committed, with Alternative Press.

Multi-platinum alt-rock trio Wallows have announced their highly anticipated third studio album, Model, following their triumphant return with the release of "Your Apartment," last month and "“Calling After Me,” their latest single.The John Congleton-produced album arrives May 24th and is available for pre-order now. Wallows (composed of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston) have been best friends since the age of 11. They began playing music together in the LA music program Join the Band almost two decades ago and haven’t stopped since. If you've seen the Leonard Bernstein biopic "Maestro", you've seen and heard The Orchestra Now, the exceptional ensemble that appears in the movie's Tanglewood Music Festival scene. The Orchestra Now (TON), a New York-based graduate-level training orchestra comprised of the most vibrant young musicians from around the globe, was founded by conductor, educator and music historian Leon Botstein, whose insatiable curiosity has resulted in rescuing countless musical works from oblivion. Their first recording for AVIE, "The Lost Generation", brings together three German-speaking composers who were contemporaries of Arnold Schoenberg and Alban Berg, but whose music became supressed by historical events of the 20th century.

In 1614, Lodovico Grossi da Viadana (1560– 1627) published his most important collection of monodies. A truly monumental contribution to the vocal solo repertoire, it comprises one hundred motets with basso continuo, twenty-five for each of the four main vocal registers. This collection survives today in only two copies of its 1615 German print with the title Centum sacri concentus ab una voce sola.

New York-based Chinese pianist Zhen Chen and the Chamber Orchestra Mannheim (Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester) have dared a new interpretation of Mozart’s Piano Concertos No. 15 in B flat major, KV 450 and No. 21 in C major, KV 467. The concertos were recorded under the direction of Thomas Rösner in Germany’s Mannheim, a UNESCO City of Music. As such, these two piano concertos are intimately connected to the musical and historical relevance of this city, which Mozart himself felt likewise drawn to.

Turbulent, fanciful, and intensely intimate, Schumann's D Minor and F Major piano trios burst with creative energy. This album explores the inner worlds of colour and texture that can only be found in the iridescent pianos from Schumann's time - in this case, an 1830 Streicher. The members of Trio Ilona combine a thorough study of Schumann-circle performance practices, a deep grasp of Schumann's compositional language tied to the art of improvisation, and a shared interest in Schumann's irresistible musical depictions of the otherworldly and the sublime.
