This vinyl LP came out in 1973. But the songs are actually from The British movie soundtrack, All The Right Noises 1971. Starring Tom Bell and Olivia Hussey. One of only two 70's albums by Melanie never to be released on CD. They planned to release in in Nov. 2016, then Dec, and then Jan. 2017. And Amazon decided not to release it on CD at all. Perhaps sales weren't as big as expected. But they let a lot of people down. Because this album is beautiful and haunting, like the movie soundtrack. If you can't find this on CD. You can order a used import vinyl copy of the soundtrack, because they are essentially the same. This will be the best music you never heard of, when you purchase it. Quarters of Change is the Lower-East-Side quartet leading the charge on New York City's rock resurgence. Composed of Ben Acker, Attila Anrather, Jasper Harris, and Ben Roter, the band has made waves online (and on the road) with their authentic brand of alternative rock.

Another fine example of Japanese jazz from the mid-1970s, this set is led by cellist and bassist Isao Suzuki and features the earliest recorded performances of guitarist Kazumi Watanabe. Four tracks make up the recording, of which two are covers, the opening standard "Body and Soul" (complete with opening melody played on the bass) and "Play Fiddle Play," and two originals, which stack up very well against such classic material. This set was a follow-up to a huge breakthrough album for Suzuki called Blow Up, recorded a year earlier in 1973.

Sam "Lightnin’" Hopkins, a true poet who invented most of his lyrics on the spot and never seemed to run out of new ideas, was a blues giant of post-war blues whose style was rooted in pre-war Texas traditions. While he cranked up his amp to fierce proportions when performing for his friends at Houston juke joints, producers who recorded him for the so-called folk-blues market usually insisted that he use an acoustic guitar for more “authentic” results. Either way, Lightnin’ seldom made a bad record, and this June 4, 1963, session on which he played acoustic was among his finest, thanks much to the sensitive support of bassist Leonard Gaskin and drummer Herbie Lovelle, who did a remarkable job of following his irregular bar patterns and abrupt song endings.
