Initially started as a solo project by founding member, principal songwriter and guitarist Mike Floros, Steelcity evolved into the band that it is today.

"ROAR feat. Christopher Dell" is the logical extension of Reza Askari's trio. Saxophone, double bass and drums are joined by the vibraphone - quasi percussion, harmony and rhythm instrument in one and therefore the ideal complement. Dell not only brings vibrating metal plates and beating mallets into the existing trio, but also his own way of thinking and working: Structures are questioned, gutted, negated or reassembled. Within the buildings that "ROAR" creates and has built, windows open up. They unlock a view of new soundscapes. While Askari's compositions for the trio let off steam in their respective frames, the quartet sometimes scrapes at the frame of the frame, scratches some varnish from the surface, leaves it and returns to it again.

Weezer (commonly known as the Blue Album) is the eponymous debut studio album by American rock band Weezer, released on May 10, 1994 by DGC Records. It was produced by The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek and recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City from August to September 1993.

Like his popular 1999 debut, "A New Standard", this is a meticulously recorded album featuring the great American songbook and some of the best jazz soloists alive, including trumpeter Clark Terry, harmonica player Toots Thielemans, and singer Jane Monheit, who plays Lucille Ball and Betty Carter against Tyrell's Red Skelton and Ray Charles on the classic duet "Baby It's Cold Outside".

This 1970 Oscar Peterson session of cover songs features trio members George Mraz on double bass and Ray Price on drums. The album is Peterson's salute to the great songwriters like Cole Porter, represented here by two songs, as well as Michel Legrand, Johnny Mercer, Sammy Cahn and Rodgers and Hart.

This 1970 session from Oscar Peterson and his trio is considered one of the high points of the pianist's career. Accompanied by Sam Jones on double bass and Bobby Durham on drums, Peterson delves into the world of bossa nova on tracks such as "Triste" by Antônio Carlos Jobim. The majority of the tunes here are standards but there is one Peterson original number entitled "Nightingale".

Its strong sales performance explains why the so-called Tennessee Plowboy came to make such an abundance of easy listening records.

When he arrived in New York, Mississippi native Mose Allison presented himself as a piano player who occasionally sang and played trumpet. This was the balance Allison struck on six memorable Prestige albums recorded between 1957 and ’59; but what really caught the public’s attention and made him one of the music’s most influential crossover artists were Allison’s sly down-home vocals on blues classics and the clever lyrics of his originals. All of the Prestige vocals were originally collected on the LP "Mose Allison Sings", which quickly became the definitive Allison collection.
