"Surfer Girl" was the third album by The Beach Boys and was originally produced by Brian Wilson on his own. The album featured numerous hits, including the title track, "Catch A Wave," "In My Room," "Hawaii," "Our Car Club," "Little Deuce Coupe," "Your Summer Dream," and more. The stereo editions of "Surfer Girl" were originally mixed in stereo by their own preferred engineer, Chuck Britz, ostensibly under the group’s supervision. Newly remastered for vinyl and in hi-res by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, "Surfer Girl" is presented here in Stereo.

Produced by John Lennon during his infamous “Lost Weekend” period in 1974, Pussy Cats is often regarded as one of Nilsson’s weaker albums due to the fact that he lost his voice halfway through the recording of it. Keeping the news from Lennon out of fear he’d abandon the project, Nilsson forged ahead, recording a slew of rock n’ roll classics and engaging in revelry with a huge cast of backing musicians that included Ringo, Keith Moon, Bobby Keys and Sneaky Pete Kleinow. While it’s entertaining to hear Nilsson run through these oldies (each coated in a layer of Phil Spector glaze), the real treats here are his originals, which stack up as some of the most engaging in his entire catalog — namely “Don’t Forget Me” and “All My Life.”

Francisco Fullana has recorded the CD together with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Carlos Izcaray as well as with pianist David Fung.

With his GENUIN debut CD, the Romanian pianist Mihai Ritivoiu takes us into other spheres: "Transcendence" is the name of the production that unites works by Franck, Enescu, and Liszt. The prizewinner of numerous competitions (including the Dinu Lipatti and George Enescu competitions) avoids thunderous pounding and superficial tinkling on the keys. From the first notes of Franck's Prélude to the mystical floating away at the end of Liszt's great sonata, the young musician draws us into his musical spell with a differentiated attack and staying power. Particularly noteworthy: George Enescu's expressive, first piano sonata – a real repertoire highlight!

Following on from their acclaimed Resonus debut the Fidelio Trio continues its exploration of the French piano trio with this impressive new recording of works by Gabriel Fauré, Ernest Chausson, and Erik Satie. Chausson’s opulent and lyrical Op. 3 piano trio from 1881, is joined by Fauré’s only work in the genre – the heartfelt Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120 – composed during the latter part of his life. The album is completed with arrangements by John White of works by Erik Satie – selections from his only liturgical work, the Messe des Pauvres, and the incidental music to his own play, Le Piège de Meduse.
