Flo Morrissey releases her stunning debut album, 'Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful,' on Glassnote Records. Recorded in Los Angeles with Noah Georgeson (Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom) and in Paris with Philippe Zdar (Phoenix, Cassius), the album is a sublime introduction to the 20-year-old Londoner, whose single, 'Pages Of Gold,' has already garnered international acclaim. Morrissey penned all ten original songs on 'Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful' and plays guitar and piano on the album.

Internationally renowned jazz pianist, Laurent de Wilde has been described as an exciting and passionate musician. Born in the United States in 1960, de Wilde spent his formative years (1964 to 1983) in France where he was immersed in French culture, music and literature eventually studying philosophy at the “Ecole Normale Supérieure” in Paris. In 2016, “Riddles”, a piano duo album where African legend Ray Lema and de Wilde “play as few notes as possible and just the right ones”, was released. In concert, this project reaches its full potential and has lead to the duo performing regularly on French and European stages.

Actually, he is called Benjamin Duterde and is France's most successful 'Retro Soul' star. His role models include Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. His songs swinging between classic Motown and current influences have earned him chart success and critical acclaim, his title 'Petite sœur' even became a TV jingle of a well-known chocolate bar.

The Clash avoided the Pistols' sensationalism, singing instead songs about politics, racism, and class warfare. This album collects many tracks from the original British release of „The Clash“ along with the single "I Fought The Law", and "Complete Control", a song they recorded with legendary Jamaican producer Lee "Scratch" Perry.

Since their debut album, “First Enchantment”, released in 2002, triosence has been praised by the music press all around the world. The trio has been acclaimed as one of the most successful jazz imports and as “the piano trio that changed our impression of the ‘stiff German jazz’.”

In celebration of Swiss conductor Paul Sacher's 90th birthday, Pierre Boulez composed Sur Incises, a two-movement work for pianos, harps, and a wide range of percussion instruments. The Boulez Ensemble captures the celebratory essence of this composition through their historical knowledge and prior experience playing Boulez's works.

Following the platinum success of „Slowhand“, „Backless“ continued Eric Clapton's transformation into a singer/songwriter with better-than-average chops after a lifetime of guitar godhood. Eschewing the star-studded cameos of „No Reason To Cry“, Clapton instead relied on his core group of the '70s: George Terry, Carl Radle, Jamie Oldaker, Dick Simms and Marcy Levy. Levy in particular, proved her worth by co-writing the slide-drenched 'Roll It' with Slowhand. Her passionate testifying on this as well as her sparkling harmonies on the Don Williams-influenced 'Promises' made up for fellow back-up singer Yvonne Elliman's departure following Slowhand's release.

The first time I heard Nitai, it was in a little café in downtown Tel Aviv, Nico, in my neighbourhood. Avishai Cohen literally fell for Nitai Hershkovits : barely 20 and despite a cheapo keyboard the youngster reminded him of Chick Corea and Danilo Perez, two illustrious peers the double bass player had been lucky enough to play with."Nitai just swings naturally, with gentle authority; I've rarely seen that with other young pianists. He has something ancient within, a spirit that shines right through the way he tackles standards. You have to know your classics inside out, and love them, to tease the wonder out of them : no point just going over the same old ground, you have to do your own take, make them part of you. Nitai brings a fresh touch, reminding me of Brad Melhdau, without actually making any comparison. He has the same intent of making each song his own. He made me want to go back again to the story I thought was over.

Matt Martians' design for Ego Death asserts that the Internet, which the producer co-pilots with singer/songwriter and producer/engineer Sydney Bennett, should be considered a band, not a duo. The names of the additional four – keyboardist Jameel Bruner, guitarist Steve Lacy, bassist Patrick Paige II, and drummer Christopher Allan Smith – along with those of numerous associates and guest artists, appear throughout the credits of the Internet's third and best album.

In 1806 Goethe reviewed an anthology of German folk poems that Achim von Arnim and Clemens Brentano had only recently published under the title Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy’s Magic Horn) and noted presciently: “Best of all, how- ever, this volume should lie on the piano of a music lover or a master musician in order that justice may be done to the songs that it contains either by means of familiar, traditional melodies or by nestling up to appropriate tunes or, if God so decrees, coaxing from them new and signicant melodies.”

On this 2009 collection, Tokyo-born classical guitarist Kaori Muraji performs a diverse range of selections for solo guitar including pop tunes Tears In Heaven and In My Life, Ryuichi Sakamoto's Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, a medley from West Side Story and Chopin's Nocturne No. 2.
