Known as singer and guitarist of The Gaslight Anthem, as well as The Horrible Crowes, Brian Fallon to release his sophomore solo album, Sleepwalkers, on 2/9/18 via Island Records. Fallon will launch an extensive run of 2018 European and North American tour dates with his backing band, The Horrible Crowes to support the album's launch. Current single, Forget Me Not, is building at Alternative, Triple A, and Active Rock radio.

Grammy Award winner and two-time Emmy nominee, Steve Tyrell, releases his latest album, "A Song For You". The 12-track release features Tyrell’s takes on classic love songs by Van Morrison, Leon Russell, Jackie Wilson, Harold Arlen & Johnny Mercer and more. Different worlds have always collided in the sound of GoGo Penguin. The Manchester-based trio conjure richly atmospheric music that draws from their shared love of electronica, their grounding in classical conservatoires and jazz ensembles alongside indie bands, and a merging of acoustic and electronic techniques. Over the past few years, it has earned them rapturous responses all over the world—The New York Times highlighted them as one of the 12 best bands at SXSW 2017—and proved that they’re just as at home playing to muddy festival goers as jazz fans.

Alela Diane returns with new album Cusp, the long-awaited follow up to 2013's critically-acclaimed About Farewell (AllPoints, formerly Believe Recordings). Whilst both albums could be described as born of love, Cusp is perhaps love at its purest, and most complex - for in music, one of the most transformative experiences a woman can have is also an unspoken artistic taboo: Have a baby if you must. But for goodness' sake, don't write songs about it. Portland, Oregon based singer-songwriter Alela Diane has a problem with that.

The 17 track album features three previously unreleased recordings: "Spanish Sea" "Alone" and "Struck By Lightning" alongside newly remastered classic tracks worked on by Elliot Scheiner & Gavin Lurssen and his team. The core Toto members, Steve Lukather, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, Joseph Williams re-entered the studio earlier this year to work on this release.

Although they left Motown (actually Soul) shortly after they cut this album, Gladys Knight & the Pips were at their performing peak during the early '70s. This magnificent title track featured stunning vocals by Knight and equally effective backing vocals from the Pips, and had several other outstanding songs on it. Why Motown never pushed them as much as they could have mystified many at the time, and while Knight and the Pips didn't surpass their Motown material at other labels, they created enough outstanding songs to justify their decision to leave. ~ AllMusic Review by Ron Wynn

If you are new to blues and R&B, blues, and jazz take a chance with this one because you'll discover some great examples by some sadly forgotten stars of yesteryear. If you are familiar with the genre, I am willing to bet that you will find some gems that you never knew existed.

Gwen Hoebig, Concertmaster, and Karl Stobbe, Associate Concertmaster, both distinguished musicians of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, combine their talents to bring us the album Six Sonatas for Two Violins, by the great French composer Jean-Marie Leclair, whose tumultuous life led to his murder in 1764.

Widely regarded as peerless on the Hammond B3 organ, Joey DeFrancesco releases his first ever quartet album, an impassioned tale of love and peace titled 'Project Freedom'. Aside from the always prominent influence of his hometown of Philadelphia, the album is largely inspired by the differing viewpoints he has been exposed to from years of globetrotting and world touring. "I always thought that as touring musicians, we were spreading peace," he explains. "No matter what happens in the world, we keep playing. In a lot of the so-called forbidden places too. When we're there, through war and conflict, problems melt away through music." Joey DeFrancesco & The People, a unit he'll tour with in 2017, features guitarist Dan Wilson, saxophonist Troy Roberts, and drummer Jason Brown.

Tenebrae return to disc on Signum in performances exploring the Psalms in Music. With trumpets and well-tuned cymbals, the musical and prayerful richness of The Book of Psalms inspires vastly differing offerings from composers with a myriad of approaches to combining the two worlds of the symphonic and the choral. The results are works which defy categorisation and stand the test of time with audiences and performers alike. Joined by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the choirs director Nigel Short, they perform iconic works by Stravinsky (Symphony of Psalms), Bernstein (Chichester Psalms), Zemlinsky (Psalm 23), as well as Schoenberg’s final significant tonal work Freide auf Erden.

'A composer’s mother tongue is the first music he hears; it therefore determines the “genetic inheritance” of the musician’s sound world. The founding father of Armenian art music was Komitas Vardapet. This recording is released in the centenary year of the 1915 genocide. The pieces in this recital may be animated, contemplative, tender, or solemn, but they are very rarely gloomy or woeful. A sort of trust in the future characterises the “Armenian spirit”.

The follow-up release to Peter Erskine’s Grammy-nominated “Dr. Um” album, reuniting the production team of Erskine with Grammy-nominated keyboardist and arranger John Beasley. “Second Opinion” is just that: a new look at songs and genres that are ripe and begging for expert musical attention.
