This is the debut album by the Polish duo comprising of Waclaw Zimpel and Jakub Ziolek, two prominent names on the Polish / European Avant-garde scene since years. Zimpel produced a plethora of recordings in various musical environments like Jazz and World Music and Ziolek is predominantly known as a member of the Innercity Ensemble and other Rock oriented projects.

Occasionally a record falls into your lap and momentarily splices apart what you know as reality, exposes beyond as a luminous wound. Hirola’s eponymous debut, a mini-album released through Phantom Limb invites you into the space between things: a complex universe of bewildering scale, where the smallest molecule of dust might sparkle with the elemental grandeur of Jupiter. Listening to Hirola I’m easily seduced by these eerie landscapes, their intricacy and subtlety. Hirola comprise Bristol-based producers LTO (formerly of acclaimed electronic outfit Old Apparatus) and edapollo (signed as a solo act to Bad Banda and Svnset Waves). Sharing the production, LTO provides piano and edapollo vocals. Together, they spin a compositional latticework of ambient pleasure and classical flair. What grows out of this mingling is a solid, urgent set of songs, flirting with pop melody above esoteric groundwork and obscure mythology.

Shania Twain's eponymous debut album is a bland set of contemporary country that demonstrates her considerable vocal abilities but none of the spark that informs her breakthrough, The Woman in Me. Part of the problem is that none of the songs are well constructed and each leans toward soft rock instead of country or country-rock. By and large, the songs lack strong melodies, so they have to rely on Twain's vocal skills, and although she is impressive, she is too showy to make any of these mediocre songs stick. It's a promising debut, largely because it showcases her fine vocal skills, but it isn't engaging enough to be truly interesting outside of a historical context.

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metal band MadMan's Choice present Vanity, a ten-track record of heaviness mixed with stoner rock chill and stunning vocal harmonies. Drawing from influences like The Smashing Pumpkins, Porcupine Tree and the Deftones, the group puts forth a cohesive, forward-looking sound with this release.

Today I’m proud to release my first-ever holiday album, Coming Home For Christmas. This record has ten original Christmas anthems I wrote earlier this year.

As the fourth-most populous country in the world, it should be no surprise that Indonesia has a burgeoning rock scene. Unfortunately, given the music world’s tendency to focus its attention on Europe and the US, countries like Indonesia tend to get forgotten about. This is a crying shame, given the talent of musicians like those in Mooner, whose new album Tabiat is a fantastic trip through psychedelic stoner-rock.

2013 marks the 10th anniversary of hit Australian artist Delta Goodrem’s debut album Innocent Eyes. Released in 2003, this fantastic album claims various records, including being the most successful Australian album of its generation, spending 29 weeks at number one on the ARIA charts (7.5 months), being certified 15 times platinum and producing five number one singles. This was quite a debut from Australian sweetheart Delta, who was only 18 years old at the time of release, as no other album by any other artist has sold more copies in Australia than Innocent Eyes since 2003.

This is Delta Goodrem in 2016 - with arguably the finest album of her career - 'Wings Of The Wild!' When it comes to having hits, Delta is a force of nature. By now you have heard the singles: "Wings" and "Dear Life." To date, Goodrem has earned seventeen top ten singles, fourteen ARIA Awards, a Silver Logie Award, three World Music Awards and album sales in excess of 23 x platinum. In the last twelve months, "Wings" hit #1 on the ARIA Charts and achieved platinum, Delta starred in Cats The Musical as Grizabella, and "Dear Life" achieved Gold status.

The Wildlife was formed by Mansfield musician Terry Van Auker, who had been in a band called the Collegiates. The original band included Terry on lead guitar, John Kinkle on rhythm guitar, Bob Ross on bass, Charlie Barker on durms, and Lou Basso as lead singer. After about 4-5 weeks John left for college and Tom Zinser, from Tommy Z and the Sleepers replaced him. In late '66 or early '67 a producer for Columbia, John Walsh, got a tip and came out to hear the band perform at Greter's Lake in Mansfield.

Avenged Sevenfold may be ramping up to the release of The Stage deluxe edition on Dec. 15, but believe it or not there will be yet another Avenged offering coming to fans just prior to that.
