Home is the eighth studio album by British pop and soul band Simply Red, released in 2003. It is the first Simply Red album released on band frontman Mick Hucknall's own record label, Simplyred.com. The album was a success all around the world, and includes the hit singles, "Sunrise", "Fake", "You Make Me Feel Brand New" and "Home". The album includes three cover versions: the Bob Dylan song, "Positively 4th Street", The Stylistics' soul hit, "You Make Me Feel Brand New", and the Dennis Brown song, "Money in My Pocket". "Sunrise" borrows a loop from the 1981 Hall & Oates song "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)", as well as some of the lyrics.

The album debuted on the UK Albums Chart on October 30, 1989 at number four which was the album's peak position, matching that of her previous album. The album spent a total of 39 weeks in the UK Top 100 and was certified platinum. The album was also a success in Australia peaking at number six, and was certified double platinum.

Back in early 80s Soho, Blue Rondo A La Turk defined 'cool'. Singer/writer Chris Sullivan, guitarist Mark Reilly and vocalist Christos Tolera (with help from myriad talented personnel) married Latin jazz, R&B, Cuban and urban soul with a strong pop sensibility (witty lyrics, catchy melodies). After singles such as the Top 40 hit 'Me And Mr. Sanchez' and the irrepressible'Klacto Vee Sedstein' and debut album 'Chewing The Fat' in 1982, the team went their separate ways. While Mark Reilly and others founded Matt Bianco, a new line-up of the original combo re-emerged in autumn 1983 with shortened name Blue Rondo. Accompanied by new singles 'Slipping Into Daylight' (a club favourite at the time) and 'Masked.

In it, Etta Scollo translates the poetry of Mascha Kaléko into music to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her death. Musically, „Nirgendland (Nessunluogo)“ is a work that unites various styles and genres, as Etta Scollo seeks the sound shape in each poem that suits Kaléko’s words. Through jazzy tones, elements of chanson, and intense vocal pieces, Scollo and her distinguished guests span an arc that reflects the diversity and complexity of the poems while allowing each piece to feel like a musical diorama, granting access to Kaléko and her world. Artists like clarinetist Tara Bouman, cellist Susanne Paul, and German songwriter Dota Kehr each make unique contributions to this album, characterized by a sense of community and collaboration as well as actress Eva Mattes, with whom Scollo recorded two duets. Internationally renowned musicians such as Belgian vibraphonist Els Vandeweyer and actress Maddalena Crippa also shaped the unique sound of „Nirgendland (Nessunluogo)“
