Brussels Affair (Live 1973) is a bootleg by The Rolling Stones. It is compiled from two shows recorded in Brussels on 17 October 1973 in the Forest National Arena, during their European Tour. The Definitive edition includes 2 CD. Disc one recorded live at the Forest National, Brussels, Belgium on October 17th 1973, 1st show. Disc two contains tracks from Rotterdam, London, Newcastle, Munich in September/October 1973. Disc two, tracks 13-16: Vienna, Austria, September 1st 1973.

The Rolling Stones Charlie is my Darling – Ireland 1965 Super Deluxe Box Set includes both DVD and Blu-ray discs that incorporate the new, official 2012 version of the film as well as the director’s cut and producer’s cut, plus significant unseen additional performance and other footage shot in Dublin and Belfast in September of 1965, bonus content, two audio CDs, one of which is the film’s soundtrack album and the other a compilation of 13 live recordings the band made over the course of their 1965 UK tour. A 10” vinyl record of the live material is also part of the package, as well as a replica poster heralding the September 4, 1965 date they played in Belfast. Live At Racket, NYC features seven tracks the band performed at the intimate launch event on October 19, 2023, with debut live performances of “Angry,” “Bite My Head Off,” “Whole Wide World,” and “Sweet Sounds of Heaven (with Lady Gaga).” Previously only available as a bonus disc on the 2 CD Live Edition of Hackney Diamonds, the band’s first studio album of new material since 2005. The Rolling Stones By the time the Rolling Stones began calling themselves the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the late '60s, they had already staked out an impressive claim on the title. As the self-consciously dangerous alternative to the bouncy Merseybeat of the Beatles in the British Invasion, the Stones had pioneered the gritty, hard-driving blues-based rock & roll that came to define hard rock. With his preening machismo and latent maliciousness, Mick Jagger became the prototypical rock frontman, tempering his macho showmanship with a detached, campy irony while Keith Richards and Brian Jones wrote the blueprint for sinewy, interlocking rhythm guitars. Backed by the strong yet subtly swinging rhythm section of bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts, the Stones became the breakout band of the British blues scene, eclipsing such contemporaries as the Animals and Them.

With their 1965 album Out Of Our Heads, The Rolling Stones exuded confidence and discovered a personality and panache in their songwriting that would help them become one of the greatest bands in history. In America, London Records released the first version of Out Of Our Heads on 30 July 1965, and the album became the Stones’ first No.1 on the Billboard charts. The UK version, issued by Decca Records, came out two months later, on 24 September, and featured some significant differences in the tracklisting.

Although the Stones had achieved massive popularity, Oldham decided to push Jagger and Richards into composing their own songs, since they – and his publishing company – would receive more money that away. In June of 1964, the group released their first original single, "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)," which became their first American Top 40 hit.

The Rolling Stones English rock band formed in London in May 1962. They are one of the longest-lived and most commercially successful groups in rock history. Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 (Performer).

They finally settled on Ron Wood, former lead guitarist for the Faces and Rod Stewart, in 1976, the same year they released Black n' Blue, which only featured Wood on a handful of cuts. During the mid- and late '70s, all the Stones pursued side projects, with both Wyman and Wood releasing solo albums with regularity. Richards was arrested in Canada in 1977 with his common-law wife Anita Pallenberg for heroin possession. After his arrest, he cleaned up and was given a suspended sentence the following year. The band reconvened in 1978 to record Some Girls, an energetic response to punk, new wave, and disco. The record and its first single, the thumping disco-rocker "Miss You," both reached number one, and the album restored the group's image.

Though it remains the only Rolling Stones outtakes collection album ever to be officially released, Metamorphosis is one of those albums that has been slighted by almost everyone who has touched it, a problem that lies in its genesis. While both the Stones and former manager Allen Klein agreed that some form of archive release was necessary,

This is for real as far as the hype goes, because this has got to be the most revealing look at the Rolling Stones at work in the studio that has ever surfaced. It's a 4 CD release that comes in a 12" box in a box package with a deluxe color outer sleeve. The cover picture is of a woman who looks to be in some trans-like state from the album cover of the old Capital Records LP "Fire Goddess". There is also a booklet that features many pictures from the August 25, 1994 Rolling Stone issue on the band. The booklet has an essay on Voodoo Lounge by David Fricke from Rolling Stone July 14-28, 1994 issue. There are also track by track details of the band line up, and a listing of basic differences in the recordings from the original releases.

In November 2002, the Stones arrived in Los Angeles to perform at a packed Wiltern Theatre, treating fans to a set heavy on rarities which feel right at home in such an intimate setting. While some of the hits are performed, this night at the Wiltern is for the rarely played classics, including “Stray Cat Blues,” “No Expectations” and a cover of “Everybody Needs Somebody To Love,” featuring a guest spot by the legendary Solomon Burke, who opened the show that night.
