Recorded in Japan in July 1973, this massive, three-LP live album was available outside the United States in 1974 but held back from domestic release in the U.S. It features the same "New Santana Band" that recorded Welcome, and combines that group's jazz and spiritual influences with performances of earlier Latin rock favorites like "Oye Como Va."

The Dark Side of the Moon is the eighth album by the English rock band Pink Floyd. Originally released on 1 March 1973, on the label Harvest, it built on ideas explored in the band's earlier recordings and live shows, but departs from instrumental thematic by founding member Syd Barrett. The album explores themes including conflict, greed, the passage of time, and mental illness, the latter partly inspired by Barrett's deteriorating mental state. The Dark Side of the Moon was an immediate success; it topped the Billboard Top LPs & Tapes chart for a week and remained in the chart for 741 weeks from 1973 to 1988. With an estimated 45 million copies sold, it is Pink Floyd's most commercially successful album and one of the best-selling worldwide. It produced two singles, "Money" and "Us and Them", and is the band's most popular album among fans and critics, and has been ranked as one of the greatest albums of all time.

Multi-instrumentalist Eddie Daniels first came to prominence with the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Big Band. His swinging tenor sax won many admirers but gradually other aspects of his playing came to the fore and in the '70s his maturing clarinet work became his most pesonal voice. This beautiful interwoven collaboration (originally released in 1973) with guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli shows off the intimate side of Eddie, featuring him on clarinet, bass clarinet, flute and alto flute. It is an intriguing set with a broad range of material and styles, producing endless flow of creative musical ideas.

An adult contemporary pop super duo, Airplay was a one-off project featuring the combined talents of noted session players/producers David Foster and Jay Graydon. They released a sole 1980 album, Airplay, which showcased their laid-back brand of West Coast pop/rock in the vein of Toto and Chicago. Guitarist Jay Graydon and keyboardist David Foster were both already West Coast studio pros with deep credits by the time they recorded their polished 1980 album Airplay. Prior to this, they worked with an impressive array of artists from across the pop and R&B spectrum, including Boz Scaggs, Barbra Streisand, George Harrison, Michael Jackson, and others. Graydon famously beat out both Larry Carlton and Robben Ford to play the guitar solo on Steely Dan's 1977 hit "Peg."

Every fan knowing about Ereb Altor's career is aware that they are by far not a Bathory tribute or cover band, but Quorthon and his legendary band is one of the main influences and with tons of heart and soul Ereb Altor transport this heritage to the present age!
Now Ereb Altor choose to record 7 Bathory classics for this release entitled "Blot-Ilt-Taut" (which is old Swedish and means nothing less than "Blood-Fire-Death"!), where they praise with reverence and much respect the mighty works of Tomas "Ace" Börje Forsberg who sadly passed away in 2004 much too early.

Guitarist Eric Gale made his reputation as a session guitarist during the late 60's and 70's for a host of different artists, as well as being a key member of the jazz/funk group Stuff. As part of Sony's Contemporary Masters series, they've put two of Eric Gale's best solo albums together on one CD. "Gingeng Woman" released in 1977 and it's 1978 follow up "Multiplication" were both produced by Bob James and feature excellent support players like Steve Gadd, Ralph McDonald, Grover Washington, Jr., Anthony Jackson, and Richard Tee. Standout tracks from "Ginseng Woman" include "Red Ground", and his cover of Hall & Oates "Sara Smile". "Multiplication's" best cuts include his cover of Lee Ritenour's "Morning Glory" and the traditional "Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child". His later work in the 80's and early 90's occasionally matched the peak he reached with these two albums. Sadly he passed away in 1994 and much of his solo output is out of print. But fortunately these two albums are available, and are most definitely worth checking out.

It may be possible that, until this release, the 3 names do not sound familiar to lovers of South American underground music, but for any fan of good Venezuelan Hard Psych Rock of the 60's-70's, Bacro Tsee Mud and LSD are really special bands and well known. Beside the other great album from Venezuela "Ladies WC" this release is as good and as important. The band has only release a couple of singles and played a lot of great live concerts. Those bands from José Romero on guitar changed names from LSD to Tsee Mud and to Bacro. In-between those bands José lived in USA and was part of the band The Del-Vikings which included a concert at the Madison Square Garden. José went back to Venezuela and continued playing with his band Barcro. All those tracks presented on this album here are extra strong and heavy psychedelic with amazing fuzz guitar and vocals and lots of acid moves. A really wild album all the way.
