From Indian Lakes is excited to announce the new album Head Void, out May 15th. Head Void is the first new music from FIL in over half a decade, and if lead single “The Flow” is anything to go by, it was well worth the wait. The song is intoxicating in its immediacy, as if drawing one into an intense conversation midstream. A galloping drum groove pulls the listener along until a wave of synths and guitars crashes overhead and sweeps them fully away in an inescapable grasp. “It is about being stuck in a flow that’s unhealthy,” shares FIL mastermind Joe Vann, “one you need the help of your loved ones to pull you out of.”

Post-hardcore punk legends Hot Water Music return with their follow up to 2022's exceptional Feel The Void, marking their quickest turn around between albums in over two decades. From the ashes of Moss Icon, Universal Order of Armageddon blasted out of Annapolis, MD in a fiery maelstrom of punishing riffs, syncopated breakbeats, and terrifying shrieks. Morning View XXIII is a re-recording/re-think of Incubus' 2001 album Morning View. The band states the album is a "result of [their] desire to honor this burgeoning legacy but also reimagine it as musicians who have been lovingly performing these songs night after night for the last 23 years." GRAMMY award-winning, multi-platinum rock band Kings of Leon are coming back big with their 9th full-length studio album, Can We Please Have Fun. As the title suggests, it’s a document of one of this era’s great rock & roll bands cutting loose, trying new things, and, yes, having some fun. Recorded at Dark Horse studio and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine) the album sees a new side of Kings of Leon. The tenth studio album from Better Than Ezra, Super Magick arrives as a prime showcase for the distinct collision of elements that have made them so beloved over the years: the eternally sticky melodies, heart-on-sleeve storytelling and wildly clever turns of phrase, potent yet finely composed soundscapes embedded with so much ear candy. But in a creative leap typical of the sonically adventurous band—whose lineup also includes guitarist/keyboardist James Arthur Payne Jr. and drummer Michael Jerome Moore—the album finds Better Than Ezra’s exploring influences from an eclectic mix of genres (country, Britpop, dub, new-wave-leaning arena rock, to name just a few). Mainly produced by Griffin and Emery Dobyns (a producer/songwriter/engineer known for his work with Patti Smith, Lou Reed, and Antony and the Johnsons), Super Magick once again proves their passionate commitment to constant evolution in their artistry. “This album took a while, but we wanted to put the right energy into it,” says Griffin. “There’s this idea that most people who go to see veteran bands are there for the old songs, but for us putting out a new record is about adding to our canon of work and creating music that we’re excited to play.”
