The long-awaited 32-disc boxed set of Robert Fripp in the studio and in concert 1977 - 1983 will be released on 27th May 2022. The set will feature many previously unreleased tracks, outtakes and rarities as well as a number of tracks appearing on CD for the first time. The largest in the series, Exposures is the ninth boxset release collecting King Crimson / Robert Fripp material from 1969 to 2008.

It was Antje Weithaas's idea to record the six solo sonatas and partitas by Johann Sebastian Bach and Eugène Ysaÿe together. "The Bach works are reasonably well known," she says.

Among the composers of his day, he was a heavyweight who left a great number of works to posterity: over 200 compositions, including works for the stage, a string of song collections, various concertos and four symphonies, apart from a multitude of writings about music, personal diaries and over ten thousand letters.

The wind quintet is probably the only chamber music instrumentation that can claim to have been invented twice. The colorful combination of flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon enjoyed great popularity at aristocratic courts in the 18th century, probably because of its refreshingly serenade-like sound, and animated composers to write a large number of works.

The music critic Emile Vuillermoz wrote about the pianist Debussy: "No one like him could transform a dissonant chord into a small, bronze or silver bell whose harmonic sound spreads out in all four directions."

Benjamin, for your new CD recording you have selected Beethoven’s and Schubert’s very last piano sonatas. Why have you chosen these works specifically, just now, in 2014?

Inspired by the late 80's Melodic and Hard Rock scene with bands such as Def Leppard, Europe, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi and GNR, Nitrate is the brainchild of Nick Hogg, a Nottingham based musician who, after playing in a few bands in the early 2000's, decided to get into song writing. He was absent from the scene for several years until, in 2015 he decided to give it another shot.

LALU is a musical project originally founded in 2004 by the French composer and producer Vivien Lalu, son of Noelle and Michel Lalu (members of the ‘70s French progressive act Polène). ‘The Fish Who Wanted to be King’ is the second album, and fourth album overall from the band, released under the partnership between Vivien and Frontiers and is creatively and production-wise a major step forward if compared to the previous albums.

HERTZ marks a change in perspective for Geneve, informed by major life changes and intense growth brought to life with her signature brutally honest lyricism. The release of the singer/songwriter's debut album, the AMP-nominated Learn To Like It, coincided with the pandemic resulting in the quiet months that followed spent conceptualising and writing her second LP. "My experience had broadened - I'd been touring and working so hard for so long and then I finally had a chance to do not much at all. I was also diagnosed with bipolar at that time. Understanding the implications of that diagnosis is a big part of this album," she explains.
