Tina Turns the Country On! is the debut solo studio album by Tina Turner, released in September 1974 on the United Artists Records.Released while Turner was still a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, it was an attempt by her husband, Ike Turner, to expose her to a wider audience. Although the album did not chart, it earned Turner a Grammy Award nomination in the "Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female" category.

Love Explosion is the fourth solo studio album by Tina Turner, released late 1979 on the EMI label in Europe, Ariola Records in West Germany and United Artists Records in the UK. Italy and South Africa followed in early 1980. The album was not released in the United States. It was her second solo album released after she left husband Ike Turner and the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Love Explosion failed to chart, so Turner lost her recording contract. It would be her last album until the critically acclaimed Private Dancer in 1984.

Acid Queen is the second solo studio album by Tina Turner. It was released in 1975 on the EMI label in the UK and on United Artists in the US. Although it is a Tina Turner solo album, the first single, "Baby, Get It On", was a duet with Ike Turner, her musical partner and husband at the time. Acid Queen was her last solo album before their separation and her departure from Ike & Tina Turner Revue.

Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album by Canadian country-pop singer Shania Twain, released on November 8, 2004 by Mercury Nashville. The album contains seventeen of Twain's hits, including all of her seven number one hits on the Hot Country Songs chart. Notably absent from the track list is Twain's self-titled debut album, in which no songs were included. Some songs are included in their pop versions such as "That Don't Impress Me Much" and "I'm Gonna Getcha Good!". "Ka-Ching!" was included in the European version of Greatest Hits as the song was a massive hit there.

Danish bassist Mads Vinding, Italian pianist Dado Moroni and Italian / Swedish drummer Niclas Campagnol join forces to deliver an exceptional, previously unreleased live performance. Berlin Philharmonic trumpet player Andre Schoch will publish his first solo album with an ambitious repertoire with pieces from the baroque and early classical era by composers Michael Haydn, Johann Wilhelm Hertel, Johann Melchior Molter, Leopold Mozart and Georg Philipp Telemann. The new album was recorded with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra. The album title "CORE" represents the innermost sensation, soul and heart of this special music which has been accompanying Andre Schoch for a long time. On the one hand the artist is concerned with the "core", the soul of the sound, which he wants to express on his instrument. On the other hand the works found on the album are precisely the central and "core pieces" of the 18th century repertoire.

Featuring a very guitar-rock sound and also contains a couple of instrumentals which is something that the band used to do on their early albums.

The Seattle Symphony releases Des canyons aux étoiles… (“From the Canyons to the Stars…”), which takes inspiration from the rock spires, birdsong and night sky of Utah’s national parks. With Conductor Emeritus Ludovic Morlot at the podium and guest artist Steven Osborne on piano, the Symphony presents Messiaen’s starry-eyed journey through nature and the divine. Two concerts of the entire 110-minute-long work were recorded in the stunning acoustics of Benaroya Hall. Digital downloads and CDs will be available through all major online music retailers and streaming services on November 17, 2023.

Forget This Night explores impermanence and desire through songs by Lili Boulanger, Karol Szymanowski, and Grażyna Bacewicz. The heart of the program is Clairières dans le ciel, Lili Boulanger’s only song cycle and an overlooked masterpiece of the genre, which maps the interior emotional landscape of someone deeply in love—from blissful awe to the devastation of abandonment. The cycle is framed by songs of Szymanowski (a contemporary of Boulanger who was also writing music of simmering passion across the continent against the backdrop of the First World War) and Bacewicz, of a generation later, who treats the same themes in songs of fresh directness and aching lyricism.

During his student years in Naples, Saverio Mercadante wrote a sequence of flute quartets at a time when Italy’s musical landscape was dominated by opera. The first two quartets reflect his command of lyricism, thematic invention and use of embellishments. These examples of the quatuor brillant style are augmented by the concertante virtuosity of the Quartet in E minor in which all instruments have more decisive roles to play in music of gravity and excitement that even reflects the influence of Rossini. These are world premiere recordings.
