For the past nine months, international artist, Christina Aguilera, has honoured her Latin roots in the best possible way: composing, producing, performing, and sharing hit songs that are included in “LA FUERZA”, her first EP in Spanish in her last 20 years of career, and the second EP entitled “LA TORMENTA”, which was released yesterday on all digital platforms.

A souvenir may quote, recall, evoke, imply, et al., and the realization of these potentialities is always strictly connected with the what, the how, and the why of its existence, structure, and creative/manufacturing process. As such, along the centuries and throughout the cultures of the world, the souvenir has been actualized, experienced, shared, and interpreted as a personal keepsake, a moral memento, a commercial reminder, a socio-political narrative, and so on.

The French composer Francis Poulenc wrote his Concert champêtre for harpsichordist Wanda Landowska. In doing so, he made a contribution to the renaissance of this historic keyboard instrument, having learned to play on a modern version made by the French builder Pleyel. The arrangement of the work is highly original. On the one hand, it is extremely contemporary.

Antonio Bazzini, violinist and composer, was born in Brescia on March 11, 1818. At the age of eight, he began to study the violin under the guidance of Fausto Camesani (or Camisani); at thirteen, he published his first composition; and at seventeen, he had six symphonies for great orchestra performed at the theatre of Brescia. In 1836, when he was eighteen, he was auditioned by Paganini, who encouraged him to embark on a career as a concert performer.

With its third CD on the GENUIN label, the dynamic chamber orchestra I TEMPI brings an unjustly forgotten Swiss composer into the limelight. Rudolf Moser, the pupil of Max Reger and teacher and artistic partner of Paul Sacher, created a manifold oeuvre in numerous genres.
