On September 22, 2019, the duo Maingold, a rather unusual ensemble, was a guest in the Maulbronn monastery church. Under the title »Brezel Meets Baguette«, Christina Bernard (saxophone) and Lea Maria Löffler (harp) presented a varied mixture of works by French and German composers from the Baroque to the modern era. The recording of the concert has now been published in the Edition Kloster Maulbronn by K&K Verlagsanstalt.

Sam Blakeslee is an award-winning, NYC-based trombonist and composer who has shared the stage with artist such as Joe Lovano, Sean Jones, Dick Oatts, Ingrid Jensen, Aretha Franklin, and Dennis Mackrel.
