Since 1970 when she won a nationally televised talent contest, Juliane Werding has been a popular pop/rock singer in her native Germany. One of her biggest hits came in 1972 when she released "Am Tag als Conny Kramer Starb" a German language interpolation of the Band's "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down." Her 1975 single "Wenn Du Denkst Du Denkst, Dann Denkst Du Nur Du Denkst" placed number four on the German charts, and in 1983, she had another hit with "Nacht Voll Schatten" a cover version of Mike Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow."
