Black Light/White Noise is the second studio album from rock musicians duo Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen, released on 4 April 2025. The first promotional single "Black Light" was released on 20 November 2024, followed by the second one titled "White Noise" published on 21 February 2025. The third single entitled "Outlaw" was released on 9 April 2025. Smith/Kotzen is the musical collaboration between musicians Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden and Richie Kotzen who is a member of the Winery Dogs and also a solo artist in his own right. White Noise is the debut single from the hugely anticipated second album, Black Light/White Noise, by the world class partnership of vocalists/guitarists, Adrian Smith & Richie Kotzen. This thrilling track takes their unique collaboration up a notch, as their modern approach, both on the fretboard and vocally evokes their love of classic hard rock. This anthemic, call to arms once again showcases the songwriting prowess of these two musicians for their worldwide legions of fans.

LA-based bluesman Eric Hirshberg, who has been steadily building a reputation for his emotionally-charged style in recent years, returns with his latest album ‘Second Hand Smoke’. Following the success of his 2021 release ‘Spare Room’, Hirshberg has continued to mesmerise with a series of poignant releases, with his latest offering being no exception. With ‘Second Hand Smoke’, he reaffirms his place as a standout figure in contemporary blues, blending raw emotion with impeccable musicianship.

The Montecassino Monastery recently hosted the score of this comic opera by Leonardo Leo, one of the leading Neapolitan composers of the 18th century, who introduced new stylistic elements to the genre. Cirillo shows in a very exciting way in his direction how nothing actually happens in this opera - apart from a very subtle play of the relationships between the seven protagonists. As with Marivaux, this is about the social differences when the middle class turns to the servants and vice versa, and as in a Feydeauschen comedy, they wander on stage (and leave again) to spy, to portray themselves, or to court someone until everyone is eaten away by doubt.

This is Alison Balsom's first CD recital with piano – here played by her long-standing recital partner, Tom Poster. Balsom describes the programme as embracing “the most important repertoire for trumpet and piano” – taking a fascinating journey through 20th century works by such composers as Enescu, Hindemith, Martinů, Françaix, Bernstein and Maxwell Davies. That being said, the final piece on the official programme – preceding ‘American Songbook’ encores by George Gershwin and Jerome Kern – dates from the 21st century and was composed by the team of Balsom and Poster themselves. Called The Thoughts of Dr. May, it is inspired by another British musician: Brian May, lead guitarist of the rock band Queen – and also, as it happens, an astrophysicist.

The second album in Sir John Eliot Gardiner's Schumann series with the London Symphony Orchestra travels from glorious fanfare to dream-like passages with the lively Spring and Rhenish symphonies. From the dramatic first trumpet-call which awakens the frozen landscape, Symphony No.1 is a celebration of spring. It moves through the season and a gruff folksong Scherzo until finally a jubilant conclusion dances into summer. Desperate, heartfelt and elegant, the Manfred Overture opens with an urgent impetus that only increases through the work, displaying the intense strife which lies ahead for it's protagonist. Schumann's Symphony No.3 is one of the composer's most impressive, painting a euphoric picture of the German Rhineland in broad Beethovenian style and closing with an exhilarating finale.

Star soprano Christine Schafer sings scenes and arias from one of Handel’s most popular operas. The combination of Handel and Schafer ensure this is going to a major release.

Baker's Holiday is an album of songs associated with Billie Holiday by trumpeter/vocalist Chet Baker which was recorded in 1965 and released on the Limelight label.
