Leos Janácek (1854-1928) is considered to rank with Antonin Dvorak and Bedrich Smetana as one of the most important Czech composers. Janácek was inspired by Moravian and Slavic folk music, which he incorporated in a modern, highly original synthesis. His work attained its mature form first in the 1904 opera Jenufa (often called the 'Moravian national opera'), and later with the symphonic poem Sinfonietta, and other chamber works and operas. A century later, Chech pianist Emil Viklicky, like Janácek, has taken the music of his native Moravia and melded it into a larger mainstream, in this case American-style jazz. In fact, Emil has written jazz arrangements of several Janácek compositions, three of which are heard in this collection: the two previously mentioned and a third, 'In the Mists.' The other tracks are a combination of traditional Moravian folksong (re-worked into a jazz context) and Emil's own compositions.

The group’s final studio album, 2300 Jackson Street, released May 30, 1989. The album’s title track celebrated the Jackson family with musical contributions from all six brothers as well as sisters Janet and Rebbie; it’s Michael’s and Marlon’s only appearance on the album which included other tracks featuring the other four Jackson brothers. 2300 Jackson Street has sold more than half a million copies worldwide.

Recorded and released in 1980, every song on the brothers’ fourth studio album for Epic, Triumph, was produced, arranged, written and composed by one or more of the Jacksons.

For his album "Films", French guitarist Thibault Cauvin has written new arrangements for 18 hits from iconic film soundtracks. "City of Stars" from "La La Land", "Mystery of Love" from "Call Me By Your Name" or "The Imitation Game" are atmospheric guitar pieces full of breathtaking virtuosity. The album represents a special project of the heart for Thibault Cauvin. Cinema has accompanied him since childhood and is for him a place of longing for unlimited possibilities and a source of inspiration. Practically born with a guitar in his hand, Thibault Cauvin grew up in a family of musicians. He studied classical guitar at the Paris Conservatory and graduated with special honors. He is the only guitarist to date to have won 36 prizes in international guitar competitions, setting new standards in classical and modern guitar playing.

The character of Yasuke will be voiced by Lakeith Stanfield.
