Glass Houses is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Billy Joel. It features Joel's first song to peak at  No. 1 on Billboard's Pop Singles chart, "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me". The album itself topped the Pop Albums chart for six weeks and was ranked  No.4 on Billboard's 1980 year-end album chart. The album is the 41st best selling album of the 1980s, with sales of 7.1 million copies in the U.S. alone. In 1981, Joel won a Grammy Award for "Best Male Rock Vocal Performance" for his work on Glass Houses. According to music critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine, the album featured "a harder-edged sound" compared to Joel's other work, in response to the punk and new wave movements.

Songs in the Atticb is Billy Joel's first live album, and was recorded during his Glass Houses Tour in June-July 1980. It introduced Billy Joel's early work to fans who had come to know his work after The Stranger, and also showcased his touring band, with whom he had been playing for some time. Two singles from the album ("Say Goodbye to Hollywood" and "She's Got a Way") were released and made it into the top 25 on the charts.

The Nylon Curtain is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Billy Joel, released on June 23, 1982 and produced by Phil Ramone. The Nylon Curtain peaked at No.7 in the Billboard albums chart, with two million sales in the U.S. It was one of the first albums to be digitally recorded, mixed, and mastered.

The Z.E.N. Trio – pianist Zhang Zuo, violinist Esther Yoo and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan – met as BBC New Generation Artists in 2015 and have since performed concerts together for BBC Radio as well as across the UK, Europe, China, Canada and United States, including a debut at the prestigious Aspen Music Festival in 2018.
