Sometimes you come across a performance that may not be exactly to your taste, but is nonetheless so persuasive of its type that it disarms criticism. This is one. It's not quite a "one to a part" interpretation of the work, but with 10 choristers and eight strings, it is intimate, and that always risks minimizing the majesty that Bach built into the Sanctus, the eight-part Osanna, and the choruses with trumpets and drums.

Violinist Miyamoto Emiri 's debut 10th anniversary album, which became a mother in May 2014 and shows deepening in music expression. In this work, he creates his own first self-produced, sharpening the expressiveness and timbre evaluated in the previous work "birth", and making items that establish "artist Mirimoto Emiri". The album title "amour" is a word that Miyamoto Emiri himself reflects on the musical activities of the soul of ten years, through private marriage / childbirth, and expresses the words that passed away in the heart.

This live recording, taken from concerts performed in 2005, offers a revealing glimpse at the approach to Bruckner’s music developed by Dutch conductor Bernard Haitink and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra over their many years of working together. Haitink first conducted Bruckner’s Eighth Symphony with the RCO in 1959 and has performed the work with the orchestra more than 20 times in the years that followed. Under his direction, the Concertgebouw Orchestra has established a Bruckner tradition of international reputation.
