Based in Washington, DC, the deal of ultra-rare and obscure records attracts the hot eyes of dealers and collectors all over the world, and discovers and distributes transcendent disco boogie-minor & local private modern soul. PPU (PEOPLE POTENTIAL UNLIMITED) sponsored by ANDREW MORGAN, which is now attracting a lot of attention not only from 80's-DISCO freaks but also from the FUNK-RARE GROOVE scene. The first CD work will finally be released from PPU, which has provided astonishing sound sources with DJ & collector-use records as the main format!

GLASS PYRAMID (BAND), a 6-member (+3) ultra-local funk band based on Oklahoma from MID 70's to LATE 80's, produced demos and unreleased works from 1979 to 1989. A miraculous compilation of all 14 collectable sound sources, not tons, which were discovered from the cassette tapes that were blown in and remastered !! The record released in advance contained 6 songs, but this time Of course, the eight songs newly added to the CD are the first sound sources to be released this time.

The rare record of boogie-modern soul, which is a local so-called "private press" that has swept the scene these days and is traded at high prices at auctions, etc., has a slightly cheap finish because it is an independent production. , There are quite a few works that are preceded by rarity. However, this one by GLASS PYRAMID excavated this time boasts a quality that sets it apart from the rare to minor modern. Beautiful melody lines, sophisticated sound arrangements, soothing disco feel and funkness, and mellowness that entrusts you with an unstoppable melancholy melody. Of course, funk-boogie tunes are also amazed by the goodness of medium-slow ballads.

There is no doubt that it will be a top-class SSS (three S!) Class CD even from the past. The best collector's item! However, I sincerely hope that such high-quality works should not be limited to some enthusiastic collectors. DISCO-FUNK-RARE GROOVE … A wonderful collection of works that many black music fans of all ages should listen to. Definitely the top recommendation for 2009.
