Posthumous album from the multi-award winning singer, songwriter, producer and the voice of Big Big Train as a limited edition LP and CD on English Electric Recordings! David Longdon was best known singer, guitarist and keyboardist of the British progressive rock band Big Big Train, which he joined in 2009

In addition, was also always busy with solo activities, including the now released "Door One" album, which contains eight expansive and breathtaking tracks and traces in content and musically a journey from darkness to enlightenment. At the time of David's tragic and untimely death in November 2021, the album was already 90% complete before it could be finalized

The group consisted of people close to him, led by co-producer/sound engineer Patrick Phillips (Kate Bush, Van Morrison, Goldfrapp, Ludovico Einaudi). The cast list reads like a who's who of pop & prog history: Jeremy Stacey (King Crimson, Eric Clapton, Noel Gallagher, Sheryl Crow), Theo Travis (Steven Wilson, Soft Machine, Gong), Steve Vantsis (Fish) & Gary Bromham (Björk, Sheryl Crow, George Michael)! This masterpiece is rounded off with liner notes by Mike Barnes (Mojo, The Guardian, Classic Rock Magazine)!
