However, the 1976 edition review is blessed enough for the official release at least in terms of items, and the New Orleans evening show has been popular as a standard outflow sound board since the analog era.

Rolling Thunder Revue held a concert at a venue called Warehouse in New Orleans on May 3, but they used a small concert hall during their 1976 tour, which included arenas and even stadiums. Yes, there are two shows a day on this day. While no sound source has been discovered yet for the afternoon show, the PA out sound board leaked out at the end of the 1970s for the evening show. Various items were created starting with the LP “MEMPHIS BLUES”, but among them, the CD “LIVE AT THE WAREHOUSE” released by the Yellow Dog label is representative of the items included in this sound source.
However, “LIVE AT THE WAREHOUSE” has problems such as “low pitch” or “strong equalization to hide the feeling of falling out”, and it was far from being called the definitive version of this sound board. is. In that respect, the overseas-made “FRIENDS & OTHER STRANGERS” released in more recent years was evaluated as recording this sound board in the best condition, including parts other than Dylan.

However, recently, the cassette copy of the first generation has appeared. You can enjoy the standard sound board of the 76th Thunder Review with a sound quality that surpasses the best “FRIENDS & OTHER STRANGERS”, and it was essential to make it a CD. As expected, there is only 1st Gen, and the sound quality is wonderful. I thought that the presence was weak because it was a PA out, but it was successful that it was a live performance in a small concert hall, and as a sound board of this kind, the realism is transmitted unexpectedly. The point that made me feel more attractive than the sound board.
When recording, “Isis” in Dylan’s part hit the replacement point of the cassette, and it is regrettable that it was cut in the second half of the performance. The 76th edition of Thunder Review, which is not transmitted from the distant “HARD RAIN” live album, is beautifully captured, and it is full of charm as a sound board with a very clear sound quality.
Of course, the pitch is accurate when releasing this limited press CD, and you should be able to clearly understand the upper feeling that is no longer comparable to the old “LIVE AT THE WAREHOUSE”. Despite the fact that such a low-generation version of the standard sound board has been around for a long time, it is strange that the renovation has not been realized until now.

The warehouse heard in such a long-awaited best version has a great advantage that it is recorded along the actual stage unlike “HARD RAIN”, and starts with Dylan’s wonderful singing. Among them, “Love Minus Zero / No Limit”, which Dylan sings obediently as it is, is a rare performance of the original melody. Dylan’s singing part in 1976 often sings along the melody of the original song for some reason, and it stands out more when heard on the sound board.
In the first place, the atmosphere is completely different from the rough performance of the live album “HARD RAIN”, and the warehouse is more laid back. It seems that this looseness was the 1976 version sound that Dylan originally aimed for, but after this, the decision to end the review early and the divorce from his wife became decisive, so it was only three weeks So it escalates to an intense performance. The difference in this atmosphere is really easy to understand because it was recorded with a sound board and an accurate pitch.

And the ultimate is “Rita May”, whose live performance has only been confirmed on this day. First of all, it was a precious moment that should be called a rare two-fold that the song itself took up the rare existence of being released on the stage with only the single B side. In addition, the looseness of 76 years fits well, and it was a performance that shined on the stage so much that it was a waste to have this one time.
