Seattle-born musician Ayron Jones is carrying the torch for rock `n' roll. With a spark that was first lit as a young person in the Emerald City, he was cultivating the light even when no one said he could. Jones, who was abandoned as a child by his parents, grew up with his aunt, teaching himself guitar and grinding in Seattle for over a decade. Then, in a flicker, he became one of the only Black solo artists to earn the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Rock Chart, thanks to his hit single 'Mercy'- a cut from his critically acclaimed 2021 major label debut, Child Of The State. This year, Jones' history-making career continues with his sophomore LP, Chronicles of the Kid. With each track, the legend of the determined 2022 iHeartRadio-nominated artist grows. But Jones, a husband and father of four, is not afraid to share the intricacies of his remarkable movie script-like origin story. From poverty to power, he is willing to spotlight the blueprint that has made him 'one of the biggest names in the genre' (American Songwriter). Today, after playing stages with The Rolling Stones, Guns `N' Roses, B.B. King, Jeff Beck, Shinedown, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Sir Mix-a-Lot and more, Jones stands tall in the lineage of guitar-playing virtuosos like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, his name emblazoned with the greats.
