Alan Leonard Broadbent MNZM (born 23 April 1947) is a New Zealand jazz pianist, arranger, and composer known for his work with artists such as Sue Raney, Charlie Haden, Woody Herman, Chet Baker, Irene Kral, Sheila Jordan, Natalie Cole, Warne Marsh, Bud Shank, and many others.

Pacific Eardrum is a jazz-rock band in late 1970's, co-lead by New Zealander keyboardist Dave McRae and his wife Joy Yates. The project issued two albums, "Pacific Eardrum" in 1977 and "Beyond Panic" in 1978, and ended its activity in 1979.

Oliver Herlitzka is a guitarist with jazz and rock influences who has been active in the North German jazz scene for many years. T-Square (formerly known as The Square), stylized in all-uppercase T-SQUARE, is a Japanese jazz fusion band formed in 1976. They became famous in the late 1970s and early 1980s along with other Japanese jazz bands. They are known for songs such as "Truth", "Japanese Soul Brothers", "Takarajima","Omens of Love", among others.

Their previous album Arrival of The New Elders presented a more varied and reflective trio, still as groovy as ever, but more structured and less jam oriented, earning them a 9/10 review in Uncut and a spot in their albums of the year list, noting their telepathic communion and concluding with “this is an Elephant9 you´ll never forget”. Reviews in Jazzwise, Shindig, Prog, Electronic Sound, The Quietus and several others followed in the same fashion.

Ottla is a bird that not only sings beautifully but also vigorously flaps and squawks. Also known as a band that Bert Dockx formed to play together once to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Jazz Lab concert series. Fortunately, Dockx and the musicians he gathered for that anniversary sextet quickly found much enthusiasm and more opportunities to play together. In 2019, what initially seemed like a fleeting experiment transformed into composing, rehearsing, recording an album, and playing more. Ottla's fluttering spirit appeared to have cooled down, at least for a while.

Following their debut release 2021’s ‘Fragments’, the trio of bassist extraordinaire Nick Beggs (Kajagoogoo / Steven Wilson), gifted jazz keyboardist Adam Holzman (Grover Washington / Steven Wilson) & rhythmic powerhouse Craig Blundell, return to deliver their signature brand of instrumental Prog come Funk or Prunk / Frog if you were to be so bold. Aside from being immensely talented performers, the three have all at one point performed together as part of Steven Wilson’s band & all three appear on Wilson’s new album ‘The Harmony Codex’.

When Carla, Nick and I has completed our previous work “The Scale” in 2021, I felt this was such a unique work in its scope and feel – prog, pop, abstraction and chanson – that it would be very difficult to follow up such a definitive statement.

Since 2004, Finnish post-rock band Oddarrang has mesmerised with their atmospheric, melodically rich music, uniquely blending guitars, cello, and trombone. Their new and final album 'Oddarrang' marks 20 years of creative musical journey.
