When I left NYC for Philadelphia during the COVID pandemic, I had a lot of big dreams and plans about what I was going to do to free myself from the survival game that I had played for 30 years. When my plans fell apart, I was thrown back into the game. I lost the first round really badly, tapped out and took a job as a hospital housekeeper, where as of this writing I’m still working full time. I still work on music and art every day before I work from 3-11pm. Although I’ve been drained physically, mentally, and spiritually, I simply refuse to give up my life’s calling. I still play for peace - for the world and for myself.

It would be hard to foresee a young kid from Bavaria becoming a celebrated jazz saxophonist in New York City. Tobias Meinhart has done that, sculpting a career of brilliant recordings and world touring. One of his principal ensembles in this endeavor has been his Germany-based Berlin People, which features the revolutionary guitarist, Kurt Rosenwinkel. Meinhart and Berlin People’s new recording, Dark Horse, celebrates how far he and the ensemble have come since their inception.

"Buffalo Springfield" is the eponymous debut album by the folk rock band Buffalo Springfield, released in December of 1966 on Atco Records. It peaked at #80 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. It is the first album to feature the songwriting of future stars Stephen Stills and Neil Young. This is the original mono release of the album.

"Buffalo Springfield Again" is the second album by Buffalo Springfield, released on Atco Records in November 1967. It peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200. In 2003, the album was ranked number 188 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was included in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

This album with the strange psychedelic sci-fi cover draws a tighter circle around Duke’s fusion language. The keyboard master ventures deep into his synthesizer laboratory. Duke shows himself to be a singer with a soulful sound. Shortly before this recording he had shelved his trombone so that he could communicate more directly with the audience, as can be heard in the hymnal, dreamlike title piece. The guest list of players make for an especially exciting concoction. No less than Duke’s playing companion Frank Zappa, under the cryptic pseudonym Obdewl’l X, performs some adventuresome guitar passages on “Love” and “Old Slippers”. On the California-sunshine pop samba, “Yana Aminah”, we have a surprise visit by Brazilian Flora Purim, wife of percussionist Airto Moreira, who opens up his bag of tricks on “The Once Over”, and plays on three more tracks.

The songs of KATYA CHE are hymns of peace, which express hope and strength. Joey's songs were created in collaboration between Erich Fischer (music) and Wolfgang Bortlik (lyrics).

John Andrews is something of an open secret in a certain corner of the music scene: a versatile musician & animator. A film school drop out whose work hat-tips tradition as much as outsider anti-aesthetics.

This new release from DUX presents an unusual recording ? the complete Piano Etudes of American composer Philip Glass. This music was created over the course of 20 years, at the turn of the 21st century. The composer initially wrote it for himself, in accordance with the compositional conventions of the time, as a technical exercise. At the same time, however, he used this short form to explore the possibilities of minimalism. The compositions are spectacular and brilliant, yet at the same time meditative and clear.

The conductor, Founder and artistic and musical director of La Madrileña period instrument orchestra, José Antonio Montaño, makes his debut at the prestigious Sony Classical company with an exquisite work of historicist recovery product of years of work, which comes to life in a careful recording around to the figure of the composer Francesco Corselli, Master of the Royal Chapel of Madrid for forty years.

This album is a collections of compositions for tenor sax, recorded with different musicians I have been so lucky to work with over both short and long periods. It´s not a best of album, but it points out some new directions in my music. Even if songs like „Rit again“ goes way back, the time frame of recording this material is 2017-2022.
