Chris Stamey’s collaboration with The Fellow Travelers, A Brand-New Shade Of Blue, was inspired by the intimate small-combo sound of the late ’50s and early ’60s—a time when the “cool jazz” compositions of such luminaries as John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, and Thelonious Monk lived alongside the expanding pop vocabulary of Burt Bacharach and Jimmy Webb. “These are songs for late nights and rainy days,” Chris explains. “I wrote most of it in the dark of winter, in whispers, in the ‘wee small hours of the morning,’ that magic time ‘when the whole wide world is fast asleep.’ And these great singers and musicians kept that mood alive throughout the sessions that followed.”

Gary Schocker is a prolific contemporary composer. He has composed widely for the flute, an instrument he plays himself, but also composes for other instruments, including the piano, which is his other instrument. These are wonderful melodic works, full of personal introspection.

The album "Free at Three" was recorded in the spring of 2020 in just one session at the Orange Studio Moscow and is an example of a motley fusion with elements of bossanova and folk.

Jean-François Paillard has been a pillar of Erato’s history since its foundation in 1953. This box includes all orchestral and chamber music, as well as the concerto recordings done during Paillard’s collaboration with Erato between 1953 and 1984. With his musicological and researcher background, Paillard was one of the world's pioneers in early music and has been instrumental in making it known to a wide audience.

With volume 4 of the complete Mozart Concertos, Cyprien Katsaris, Mari Ota and Eung-Gu Kim and the Salzburger Kammerphilharmonie under the baton of the Korean conductor Yoon K. Lee address the Concertos for two and three pianos, K. 365 and K. 242. These pieces, written in Mozart’s home city, bear witness to the relationships Mozart enjoyed with his pupils in the Salzburg aristocracy.
