Sanzibar Schreef is a striking, modern typeface in two weights mixing slab serif letterforms with straight, rounded & angled terminal styles. These hybrid characteristics, first seen in sister typeface Sanzibar Pro, lend a slightly exotic appearance to some of the neo classical forms. The word ‘serif’ is derived from ‘Schreef’, a mid 19th century Dutch word meaning ‘line’ or ‘dash’.

Ridin’ down that old country road, a sign appears ahead in the forest… “Cherry Pies, $2.” It’s good ol’ YWFT Filbert bringin’ that down-home cheer, with that hand-painted, primitive calligraphic rootin’-tootin’ charm that just can’t be done any other way. Inspired by folk typography and hand painted signage from the banjo-pickin’ back country, YWFT Filbert is just as weird and wonderfully inconsistent as the Appalachian weather. This is a handset conversion, now in OpenType, with 300+ glyphs, and ligatures and stylistic alternates of both uppercase and lowercase.

Offense is an unyielding rectangular slab-serif face designed with consistently balanced letterforms and a refined finish. It’s extremely angular geometric form commands attention in display settings, yet is also legible in short text blocks. Numerous alternate character sets allow room for customization, while the expanded ligatures push letter combinations to the limit. Stylistically, Offense’s almost crude, sharp-cornered construction is balanced by it’s sophisticated finish and attention to detail, often unrealized in similar faces of this genre. The upright weights are complimented by pairings of true italics, completely rebuilt, slightly narrower in width with modified letterforms, increasing their contrast and flow.

Manometer is a pneumatic ultra-black slab serif typeface with soft corners and fine counters.

Pebl is inspired by the naturally simplified and smoothed shapes of beach pebbles. The result is a bold, super-rounded display typeface. It’s pared back to just the most basic, smooth outlines without counters, for a friendly and organic look.
