Based on the novel "Panther in the Basement" by the world-renowned author, Amos Oz, the movie takes place in Palestine in 1947, just a few months before Israel becomes a state. Proffy Liebowitz, a militant yet sensitive eleven year old wants nothing more than for the occupying British to get the hell out of his land. Proffy and his two friends spend most of their time plotting ways to terrorize and/or blow up the British until one evening, while he's out after curfew, Proffy is seized by Sergeant Dunlop, a British officer. Instead of arresting him, he deposits him back home,but what ensues in the weeks to come is a friendship between these two foes.

Set shortly before and during the Six Day War in June of 1967, The Sparrow follows a young police officer stationed in a small village in Upper Egypt whose inhabitants suffer from the harassment of a corrupt businessman.

Punk's not dead is a remarkable black-comedy by Vladimir Blazevski. It is about a reunion of old punk band. Mirsa is a punk who is trying to put up with the struggles of everyday life in Skopje. One day he was offered to play for some multicultural-happening in Debar. Actually, all he ever wants is to play again with his punk band, so he accepts the offer. The next step is to find all former members of the band and make them play again… His ex-girlfriend is coming back to him and she is helping him to find the former members of the band. Punk's not dead gives good message - we should keep on trying to make our dreams come true.

The story begins in summer and lasts about a year, the Land of Israel during the British Mandate. The movie is about different characters, who meet in one place, feeling lonely and looking for love.

Zach (Matt Barr) is a smart and talented, but troubled 18-year-old growing up in suburban Texas. With the summer approaching, he and his crew have little to do in their stifling small town but look for places to skateboard. While Zach's single mother works at the local oil company and barely has time for her family, his hyperarticulate and deeply cynical older brother, Nick (Layne McKay), is sinking into depression. Zach has a serious crush on Judy (Kelly Bright), and though he seems to have an in – they star together in a school play – he can't get up the nerve to ask her out. The summer arrives, and Zach, Nick, and a group of five close friends are ready to spend it skateboarding, relishing the opportunity to make something out of the emptiness of their environment.
