This is what I do in general. Not every step is done for all my rips – otherwise as mentioned below:

• Light de-Clicking, significant clicks/anomalies manually removing
• De-Noising: no
• @ Level: 30 (YES!) I decide if it will be repaired or not! 100% handmade! / non automatic mode;
• heavy clicks / anomalies, mark the region, copy in a new (iZotope RX Advanced) temp-file.
Open in Clickrepair (every option off) and let it run until the click/part and repair/removing manually
(Clickrepair is able to calculate the possible groove running, try out how it most fits …)
