The making of this album has felt like the one constant since the pandemic started, and it has been a source of tremendous source of comfort, frustration, wonder, and growth for both of us. We made many trips up to the Catskills to record in the basement studio of Griffing Jennings, soaking up the mountain views and starlight. Now it’s here, and I’m feeling the inevitable grieving that comes with finally releasing a project into the world. It was such a labor of love, and I hope that you can spend some time with the work we created.
