KÏÏŌTO - As Dust We Rise (2024) (Hi-Res)

Kiiōtō is the love-child of Lou Rhodes, Mercury-nominated singer/songwriter and founder member of Lamb, and multi-platinum songwriter and keyboardist Rohan Heath. Together, they have recorded an album that is both richly instinctive and inquisitive: drawing on the roads the pair have taken to reach this point, As Dust We Rise arrives infused with a transporting spirit of ongoing exploration and discovery. Kiiōtō is the newest project from Lamb vocalist Lou Rhodes, in collaboration with Rohan Heath, known for his work with Urban Cookie Collective. Under this new moniker, Rhodes and Heath embark on a national tour celebrating the release of their debut record. The album, “As Dust We Rise,” explores themes of loss, rebirth, migration, and emotional surges. Recorded both in their home studios and with producer Simon Byrt, the album features contributions from guest musicians, resulting in a warm, organic sound. Rooted in shared histories and a desire for exploration, Kiiōtō’s debut represents a culmination of their musical journey.
