Jossef Tawila, the legendary tar player of the band Ensemble Tourqouise along with Avram Mufradi composed the Crying Spring Symphony. In the debut evening of the symphony's playing a car accident occurred, as Tawila fell during driving, killing two of the orchestra's members. Surviving the accident, Tawila, Avram Mufradi and Margaret (Tawila's spouse, being the band's singer), who turned to a wheel chair invalid. Tawila is judges and sentences for a few imprisonment years. After his release from jail he abandons his beloved one and music, opens a pub and sinks into a depression. The movie describes the happenings twenty years after the accident.

When Stelluti leaves town for a few weeks, the town-gossips create an affair out of the innocent relationship between Maria and Antonio. Stelluti returns and accuses Maria of infidelity, and, she, in reprisal, runs off and joins a traveling theatrical troupe as a dancer. Antonio, after convincing Annarella that he has not betrayed her love, encounters more trouble when the father of Annarella's child shows up and asks that she and the child go away with him. Antonio tells Annarella that it is her decision to make, and she chooses the child's father and leaves with him.

Lamenting Thebian women are waiting for the men to come back from war. God Jupiter is attracted to one of them: Alkmene. He goes to earth and tries to seduce her as himself: an old man. Failing in this, he disguises himself as Amphitryon (Alkemene's husband) and tries again. Next morning Amphitryon and his men come back from war; he suspects adultery and wants a divorce. Jupiter's wive Juno now also comes to earth and clears things up.

Lili, by now an actress, learns about it and works herself in a refined way into its cast. Ending up as the star of this production. No more than that, for the young filmmaker remains faithful to his wife and young daughter.
